It's shocking to me how Alcaraz went further than QF at only ONE masters this year and yet you see tennis world already naming him goat and putting him on pedestal. Sure he won 2 slams but at this age and his peak he should be more consistent. 

 

For example, this was Novak's 2015 year and yet tennis world and propaganda is still trying to hide it. And this was against Federer, Nadal, Murray, Wawrinka etc. Imagine if Alcatraz or Dopper had these results in a single season

I think Djokovic is dialing it back a bit. It sure looks like he is putting all his eggs in the 2025 Australian Open basket.

 

Going forward, Djokovic will probably play the slams and only the Masters he feels are most important to him. I think he is aiming to stay healthy and play until 2028, to try to win the first Saudi Masters and defend his Gold medal.

I mean Novak has been playing GS + few masters for the last few years already, his schedule is pretty consistent. I know he said he planned to play until next Olympics but I doubt it. He already started struggling with injuries this year, from ankle to elbow, knee and hip. 

 

But next year I don't know what will happen, he might drop out of top 10 by the time AO starts, so playing Sinner or Alcatraz in 3rd/4th rounds will be sad to see.

 

He said to Serbian press back in early September that he was not gonna play Paris and Finals and he only played Shanghai because Lacoste had event there and he is the most popular player ever in China so he wanted to visit the place after 5 years and still reached final...
