wow i just finished this....

 

the way it tackled existentialism and nihilism in such a neat way.

the simple story of asian culture and family being interwoven into the plot, with each character being developed

this was very transcendent and reminded me of the hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy

Spot on review! The ending was a little syrupy for my taste but I adooored everything else. 9/10

I've been waiting to see this since the trailer dropped and ngl I was worried the internet might've been over hyped it but oh my f**king god. the way this movie had me laughing and crying within the span of 10 minutes is unreal. I haven't been able to stop thinking about it since the credits rolled, what a spectacular film and concept

 

I really love the current multiverse film trend with EEAAO, spiderverse, netflix's russian doll, and amazon video's undone  not saying I want more multiverse content but rather more thought-provoking stories that have something new to say. really hoping that EEAAO's success inspires filmmakers to push the boundaries of entertainment, I'm so excited to see what will come from this

Best movie of the year by a landslide. I'm completely speechless. Truly something wonderful and unique.  

 

It reminded me of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Groundbreaking. 

 

Michelle Yeoh is a freaking treasure and she will get that nomination.

I've been looking forward to this for ages and it totally met expectations+.

I don't understand why Americans call sausages hot dogs tho. that's my only complaint.

Also shook at the rock scenes were. How did that work so well? The absolute talent on display with every aspect of this film.

Microsoft didn't get the memo... they released it on PC and Xbox and hours later blocked the content access to all the users who got access....a debacle
