Yup, this was my fear. We lost out on some legendary lipsync moments cus the producers were afraid of Jinkx getting smoked too hard.

 

I swear, she's such a talented queen but they coddle her so damn hard. Like, let her win anyway but atleast give Monet her legendary lipsync moment.

if i were congratulated by the entire production team after a lipsync, told i clearly won by them AND the person i was lipsyncing against (who also STOPPED LIPSYNCING FOR THE CROWN TO WATCH ME!!!!), and had all my best moments cut to crown someone who shouldn't even have advanced to top two i'd be bitter too

I watched the Rivalry live too and Bob said he couldn’t see himself coming back at this point, but I’ll take that with the same grain of salt I do with everything winners do, it definitely wasn’t as firm of a “never coming back” as like Violet/Trixie have given. If WOW comes with a good enough offer, I think he’d do it a few years down the line as would a lot of people who’ve said they probably won’t do it.

I don’t see Bob coming back lol. Wow shot themselves in the foot this season. Most of the girls are allegedly upset with Wow for various reasons. All the money they spend to be on this show when Bob already showcases her drag on her OWN tv show. And now with Monet being edited to hell and back out of a lipsync that there was no way she could lose to. I mean I’d love for Bob to come back but Wow seems to have fumbled this season, I lowkey won’t be surprised if there isn’t even another winners season.

She shouldn't have been top 2, Trinity won that lipsync. She got an unfair pass there and got mad when someone else got an unfair pass in the final lipsync.

Yeah if they wanted another winners season, this one just showed the remaining winners that this is NOT worth it. And why bother when they already know who they want to crown. 
 

Can they at least do us a courtesy and release a better edit of the lip sync now that they gave the little Wicca her crown? Please?

I really don't think they'll have that much trouble getting another All Winners season off the ground like 3-5 years down the line. I mean 6 of the 8 winners on this season all won in the 3 years before this filmed so in theory AW2 could be almost entirely winners we don't even know yet and they just need to offer a good enough deal to entice 1-2 older winners to join.

Yeah this is what I think too, but it's gonna be so mediocre unless these new winners are really gonna bring it. Otherwise we're gonna get Willow/Kylie level winners and it'll just be a snooze  I don't see any of the older winners coming back though tbh... definitely not Bob, Bianca and Violet. Sharon will never be invited back. I don't see it for Tyra either. That just leaves Chad, Alaska and Bebe pretty much.

Alaska, Bebe, Symone, Lawrence, Priyanka, Aquaria, Ra'Jah (assuming she wins CvTW), and 1 new more winner could be a fun season.

 

And idk I think a lot of these girls that make bold statements that they'll never be back could be coaxed into it without too much issue. I mean Bob said multiple times over the years that he wouldn't do it unless the prize was 1 million and then last night admitted he would have done this season if he'd been asked. They change their minds all the time and a lot can change in a few years. I could even see Trixie/Bianca coming back in a few years if the right offer is made at the right time. They are all on the top of their careers right now, but I think people forget how valuable 12 weeks of guaranteed television air time is for people in an industry like this.

The international franchises show drag race can continue without Rupaul (see DR Espana or France). I would not be surprised if one of the winners ended up hosting the show. I bet either Symone, Trixie, or Bob.

Yea this is true. They can just rebrand as “Drag Race” in the US cus obviously they aren’t gonna call it someone else’s Drag Race. It’s gonna be so interesting when that happens

I know Ru is old but look at some of his biggest idols like Cher, Dolly, Diana, etc who are all 10-20 years older and still doing tons of shows and are basically in full drag for everything they do. 
 

He could easily do the show for 10 more years. But I think even if he retires he’d want someone to take over the show rather than cancelling it. If he ends it, then another drag competition show would inevitably pop up and take its place, but it wouldn’t be obligated to give Ru an EP credit, whereas even if he’s not the host on Drag Race he’d continue to profit off of it as an Executive Producer.
