Valentina was at an event in the US a few days ago. Guess the rumors of Taiga Brava replacing her are true. We lost. This cast looks a little better than the first season. Did we really need five ex-La Mas Draga queens tho? Eva, Leexa, Luna and Nina were somewhat popular during their seasons, but Elektra received a lot of hate. Hopefully she can redeem herself here because she can serve some cute looks/performances when she tries.

 

 

When we get a repeat of this and Elektra sends Leexa packing again.

Sapphira’s drag does look basic on IG but I’m sure she’ll bring something better for the season

Does anyone know why people are saying that Sapphira and Nymphia are the top 2 and totally disregarding Plane Jane? I read that the finale will have a top 3 so if all 3 of these girls are in the finale and we know the finale is always filmed later on, why are the spoilers so definite about the top 2?

The finale was filmed over the summer due to the concerns that a strike from members of a union who work on unscripted reality shows (I don’t know their name). The union members’ contract is up in Spring 2024 so they didn’t want to risk it.

People are over exaggerating what she “did” at her shows. That happens at those spaces. Plus that’s a lot of energy to waste on someone who might not even be an important character in the show lol

It looks like based on the new information that this was over exaggerated by Jay Kay and the original person who posted about it. Seems like Plane Jane could sue them for defamation.

that whole thing is such a mess. there’s also something completely different from a drag queen , perhaps crossing the line to some , and getting handsy with guests during a performance and the type of manipulative and WEIRD $h!t that Sherry Pie did.

 

we can talk about whether or not drag queens should be able to engage audience members in that way and when it crosses a line , but apparently a video of the incident was pretty innocuous. seems more than anything like it’s just people that don’t like them making a very risky and problematic attempt to ruin their career before it’s really started.

Hey, I've been thinking about this, too. I thought there was potentially tea about someone getting disqualified. I also remember the Boulet Brothers on their podcast talking about making a decision that they stand by but that will be seen as unpopular by the fans. This was early on during the season, so I don't remember the exact podcast episode, but it might be referencing Ork who's been a fan favorite since the cast announcement.

 

Unfortunately, we're running out of episodes... Fantasia has to win the next one. I mean, if she doesn't, what's going to justify having her in the top 3 with an abysmal track record? They might even give her the win if she doesn't deserve it at this point, but I still hope it'll be deserved. To make her track record seem on par with others, they may even have everyone else in the bottom like they did by the end of season 4... except they kept everyone and had a top 4 that time.

 

There's also the fact that only Nio or Throb would send Blackberri home at this point, since exterminations have mostly been based on track records.

 

There aren't many options. Maybe Ork gets eliminated next week and Blackberri goes home during the reunion, but that would be weird... Not sure how they would turn the reunion into a competitive episode in a fair way (asking eliminated contestants to vote would be unfair, for example). Alternatively, Ork may get eliminated during the fright feat or be disqualified for doing something unacceptable (like pouring a drink on a judge), but that would be out of character. So far, Ork has been taking criticism fairly well and only argued with other contestants. We may get a double elimination if Fantasia wins and/or isn't in the bottom... Otherwise, Blackberri would stay over her, based on track record. The least likely scenario is a top 4, but we've had solid tea that Blackberri gets eliminated, and Ork's trajectory has been hinting at them fizzling out, so... I think both will somehow be out, but things are still vague. I'd be fine with a double bottom 2 (Ork x Nio and Throb x Blackberri) for storyline reasons.

 

Personally, I'd be more interested in Throb winning the next episode and having a track record on par with Nio's (which would make the finale less predictable, though Nio is still my pick to win). Even if Fantasia wins next week, I don't think she'll win it all, as she's sort of been MIA for most of the competition with the exception of a deserved win on episode 4.

 

My prediction is that Ork will get eliminated next week, and we'll be left with an extermination cliffhanger that'll be resolved during the reunion, with Blackberri's elimination being based on the previous episode.
