Anetra would literally be Jinkx without the extra wins:

So i fear Anetra probably IS winning to please the mouth breathing fanbase and fujoshi girls but what can you do. If i were Sasha I’d suplex PooRaul through the floor for choosing a Hag over talent and giving production everything they could want and more. So sad.

this would be the first time in 15 regular seasons of drag race that a queen that has explicitly “lost” a lip sync during the course of the season would end up the winner and that’s why i don’t believe it … why would they break that precedent now ?

I would not be surprised if Fadnetra wins. She's literally a repackaged Kylie Sonique Love and Ru had no problem crowning that overhyped bar queen over her 3 superior competitors

and also that many preferred Sasha's lipsync against Fadnetra?

A queen had never won with just 1 challenge win, until Yvie. A queen had never won with 2 BTM2 placements, until Symone. These precedents exist, until they don't.

 

That being said, Sasha needs to win

That being said, Sasha needs to win

those don’t have the same connotation as “losing” tho , i think there’s something to be said about a queen who was never put in a situation that can/sometimes does constitute the basis for elimination (losing a lip sync)

 

Sasha was never in the bottom TO lip sync , let alone officially “lost” the one she participated in. Anetra (technically) lost two lip syncs in a single episode along with being in the bottom 2 a whole two separate times (and 3 counting the lip sync smack down)

 

Sasha is incomparable to Rose/Gigi in that sense bc they both lost lip syncs in the course of the season. i take the point about them breaking precedents but i think the lip sync loss one is a lil more sacred/unspokenly upheld

Normally I’d agree with this but I think the difference is in how Anetra’s edit was during the LalapaRuza. She wasn’t edited like a loser like Rose and Bosco were in their lipsyncs. She was kind of the hero of that episode.

 

Idk I’m a huge OAH but I’m getting worried she’s gonna take it now and it’s just a huge injustice to Sasha considering how she STOMPED all over everyone and her win would be so symbolic considering the state of the country rn. She’s literally the perfect winner.

Anetra winning would be the equivalent to Bosco winning. Cut out Jorgeous humiliating Bosco at the Lalaparuza and we end up with 2 queens having more or less the same track record and the same edit. The only difference is that Anetra has huge fan support on top of an extremely favorable edit so it's not a reach to say that it's 50-50 at this point.

I’m sorry but crowning Anetra would be such a slap in the face to Sasha at this point. They’ve propped her up as a legend and the way Ru has praised her throughout the season seems like she’s next in line after Ru. Crowning Anetra would just be fan service and discredit everything Sasha showed this season. In no way did Anetra out do her….yes she’s had some good lip syncs but also some tragic runways and not so standout performances in the challenges. Her taste level is also just not there as a winner, she needs to refine it a lot more than it is now. Even her look @ the finale looks like a crunchy fitted and poorly executed bodysuit. Please for the love of God, let that spoiler be fake.
