I'm really not a fan of movies that are one big metaphor, and where almost none of the events actually happen. The gaslighting aspect was somewhat interesting, but overall it didn't work for me. I like it because I literally don't think it's trying to "say" anything I understand that most people hate it for its commentary but it serves long-form music video to me. Smooth-brained arthouse We can direct this energy to A Wounded Fawn, though!

I'm glad you enjoyed it though.
Uncatena Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 I personally love Men because I really don’t mind movies that paint their metaphors in with broad strokes as long as the filmmaking is good, which it is. But I totally get the criticism.
BreakinTheIce Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 Has anyone seen Skinamarink? It's playing at my local theater next weekend so I think I might go, very intrigued by it.
