Saw X didn't do anything for me. Still one of the better entries in the franchise. I'm sure it'll turn a handsome profit though and we'll get a new one by 2025 :rip:

Just finished 'No One Will Save You', it was okay.

The actress was amazing though, it's insane how she literally carried the entire movie without speaking more than 2 words.

'No Payola Will Save You From Bombing' is cute for a tv movie. Still top 10 on my 2023 list tho  :)

Spoiler

The aliens were so cute :smitten2:

What are some of your must watch movies during October? I want to see if there’s anything I should add to my list. :alexz2:

I love It Follows but I’ve never heard of Men? I’ll have to check it out.

Some movies I try to watch every October are:

- Trick ‘r Treat

- Halloween (1978)

- The Cabin in the Woods

- The Blair Witch Project

- Wrong Turn

- Grave Encounters

- The Mist

- The Descent

@Leptine

Exactly. It's Top 10 material in a mid year. Only Halsey's Maxxxine can reverse the tide, I fear.

Best part of Men.com is when you take it off and stream Titane instead :clap3:

2022 was really all around full blossom year for horrors and thrillers.
But whenever I can fill up my top 10/top 15 list with movies I am confident about and that I would like to rewatch them multiple times, I consider the year successful. I think 2023 will also be like that.

Objectively speaking, there have been both blockbuster and indie horror hits this year so far, so I think horror continues doing well enough.

I hope Five Nights at Freddy’s will be much better than Willy’s Wonderland. :intoit:

I just rewatched Trick 'r Treat and it still hits that spot! The perfect movie to start spooky season! Made me feel like a kid again

Friday the 13th and A Nightmare on Elm Street should release while this horror poptimism is going off. Those IPs have been dead in the water since the early 2010's.

We need a #REAL horror reboot where Jigsaw is flesh-eating demon instead of a puppet methinks
