He said he just thought it would be cool He siad Ikemoto will be in charge of swaying to story in that direction. So it's gonna happen, but just know that cliffhanger was created cuz it was cool not cuz there's some big plan leading to it Kishi said a lot of the plans he had were also scrapped by Ikemoto. Code and a major character were supposed to be dead by now. Ada & Daemon was something Ikemoto created on his own, & Kishi had no plans for them to ever exist Yeah, Ada and Daemon seemed kinda forced. The only good things about Boruto were that Sakura fight, and Mitsuki.

Dylangaga Posted September 1 Posted September 1 @Chiidish sis, why is MHA so good. Does it continue to slay??

This season is arguably just gonna continue to be peak after peak episode leading up to a cliff hanger final episode with a VERY special and iconic moment (if the guesses for pacing are correct) So basically YES. S/N: I imagine that the remaining content will be put in a final movie or just a short 12 episode cour to wrap up the series. The only thing people have complained about is the ending ending of MHA…but personally as a working adult I enjoyed the ending from my perspective of how life changes. I think all of the most pressing plot points /subplots/character arcs got wrapped up almost perfectly even before the final ending so for me I didn't even need anything substantial to happen with MHA but to be satisfied as a whole (unlike some other completed/near completion series). 1 1

Dylangaga Posted September 1 Posted September 1 The final dubbed episode of Naruto: Shippuden finally premiered on Toonami last night 1
illia Posted September 5 Posted September 5 This looks amazing! The artstyle is giving the DBS Broly movie which the best Dragon Ball has ever looked imo so I'm really excited Confirmed to be canon and *apparently* takes place shortly after the DBZ Majin Buu arc, before DBS 2

fridayteenage Posted September 9 Posted September 9 Read 20th Century Boys. Starts off slowly but picks up. Some pretty nifty characters, though Kenji's a bit overrated. The ending could have provided more resolution, but it's satisfying enough. Still prefer Monster as a whole.

The third act was a bit of a mess, to put it mildly Whenever you're planning to check out something else from Urasawa, read Billy Bat. It's soooo underrated but it's his best work to me Edited September 9 by illia

It's soooo underrated but it's his best work to me kinda reminded me of Pretty Little Liars. The first A/Friend reveal was like "ohhh yeah that makes sense." The second was like "that person who I barely remember? sure Jan, if you say so." Also someone should have stayed dead.
Antisocialites Posted September 13 Posted September 13 (edited) the way Aka Akasaka has ruined Oshi no Ko manga... kinda sad. Spoiler first the incest plotline, then the cheap twists of "Ruby" getting stabbed, then the lack of development of Ruby as a character and how she suddenly matched Ai's fame and popularity... the ending arc is ATROCIOUS so far. fridayteenage Posted September 17 Posted September 17 (edited) got through punpun. very weird and depressing. definitely stands out; I can see why it evokes a lot of passion. I wouldn't want to read it again, but it lives up to its reputation. berserk was way less dark than I expected besides the flashback arc, and jojo's bizarre adventure had a bizarre premise/setup but (Pt 6 and Pt 7) eventually mostly became a series of long battles. i've gotten through 20/22 most popular manga on myanimelist. i'll wait a bit on vagabond and Vinland though, I think.
