No Lorelei (first E4 who put Ash in his place and taught him to be humble and respect his friends), no electabuzz girl, no gs resolution (come on this was the perfect time).

Even outside of Trick Room she was good, but once TR was up I almost always had 3 OHKOs I thought TR would suck, cuz by the time u switch-in u only have 3 turns left. Almost 1.5 years since the G4 mono

The fact that they didn’t bother to bring in fresh talent for the new series let alone give the current team much of a break after wrapping up Journeys is a recipe for a disaster

For a franchise about evolution, it's really funny how the anime kept it the same every season and refused to evolve until now that is.
