This really had the potential to be really cute with the university arc and moving in together scenario but gays can't have nice things

EarthMix - They had a divorce period apparently during the time they were filming Moonlight Chicken, as claimed by a few people online. They did well regardless, though I was far more interested in FirstMix and EarthPapang.

 

MikeToptap - Some said Toptap thought Mike was really reciprocating, but that was not the case and everything went south, as we all know.

Fourth - I think he may have genuine feelings for Gemini, who seems straight or maybe ace

Book -  I think he may have genuine feelings for Force, who is most likely straight, but the extremely open-minded kind of straight, who will have man-on-man action with a close queer male friend if the queer male asks for it

Bright - Some fans say that he gives this jealous stare if other people get too close to Win. Some say that he has this longing gaze when he stares at First.

I'm saying this with best intentions (and you're one of my faves here with constant BL updates), but I think you read too much Twitter fanfic 

 

These ppl are actors and their company is trying to sell the fantasy of the actors having more than friendship and professional relationship.

 

Trust me I'm a OffGun fan (and I bought into their fanservice in the past ngl) but at the end of the day I had to remind of myself that this is business and we don't know what it's like in actuality

Yeah, I might have been a little over-zealous with the analyzing at times. Oftentimes, I watch a show and decide to play the guess-the-actors'-orientation game for the fun of it. 

 

Some of the comments are based on what people have posted on Reddit and Twitter/X, especially the parts about Bright looking at First a little too affectionately. A few others are based on my observations of the actors in some of the videos and a handful are based on the "vibes" they give.

You sound like you're quite intuitive (I'm one too) However I have to say that I think all your examples (outside of EarthMix) are str8  Esp ForceBook and Bright are the straightest ones out there

Whew just finished ep 2 of My Personal Weatherman!

Miss Japan you will always be THAT GIRL! 

This is honestly serving Series of the Year worthy for me.

I was shook at both the main actor's acting! The bottom had more to work with so he impressed me more, but the top did great and showed great versatility in scenes where he goes from serving charisma/sex appeal to switch quickly to a serious dramatique moment.

@reymiu, these are my deductions/observations. (And I cannot believe I wrote so much. Really looking like a clown here.)

 

If an actor does 4 or more queer roles, and only has just 1 straight role, I would say that guy is likely to not be straight. (I say likely, because it's entirely possible that a straight actor may only have luck scoring gay roles in BLs.)

 

At the start of Pride month, the actors posted their thoughts related to Pride month. Those that had really passionate posts and calling for action (Ford Allan and Book and some others), I am 90% sure they are not straight. Those that post really lame and superficial messages are most likely not (especially those by Krist and Dunk, from what I can remember).

 

 

 

EarthMix - Enough has been said about them, so I won't elaborate.

OffGun - They never seemed real to me, based on the relatively few videos that I've watched.

TayNew - I think they were a couple at one point. In an episode of OffGun Fun night, because the two spent Valentine's Day (2018?) 2gether in Phuket or some other place, without other friends/colleagues. They obviously are not a couple now. 

ForceBook - Mike Chinnarat over here in this video was not aware that he was being prank-called so I would think that his thoughts and advice were quite genuine. Assuming nothing immaterial has been cut out, Mike didn't flinch / wasn't that surprised when Book said he liked Force, so I guess perhaps people have been thinking that Book is not straight all along.

 

I think some Redditors did mention that Force was on the lookout for a GF (since he's already 26). At the same time, since Book visits Force in his home often, my deluded self is saying that they must have done a few things in Force's home in the interim, while Force tries to to find a girl.

Ha, Bright is so painfully straight-looking and he had a girlfriend, who accidentally caused a social media firestorm back in 2020 (her power!).

I remembered those videos of fans analyzing that Bright was protective of Win and Bright would give that jealous stare when others got too close to Win. 

 

This episode of BrightWin Inbox was cute. BrightWin were supposed to fight for Namtan's affection, but it turned out to be Bright and Namtan fighting over Win. I don't think anything's serious here but it's cute to watch, in any case.

 

 

I just checked out BrightFirst for the first time, and I must say, they are cute 2gether too.

You Are Mine EP1 (New Taiwanese BL!)

 

The first 19 minutes was pretty much a generic office BL cringefest with a checklist of cliches like the overdone clumsy bottom falls and stoic seme catches him scene  

 

But I kept going cause the VISUALS are visualing (bottom looks like the H2: Crossing the Line bottom and the top looks like Keita Machida from Cherrypopping Magic)

 

But around the 20 minute mark the CHEMISTRY hit me like a truck and so I'll be watching the rest even if it fizzles out or worse like the rest of 2023's quick lil singles

(So far it's definitely more tolerable than Cum and Cum and its overacting top and complete lack of chemistry)
