I almost asked if anyone was watching it because I was slightly tempted to yesterday, but then I remembered I didn’t watch their first series let alone the spinoff, so I guess this one will be ignored too.

It's more ridiculous and more polished imo, but to me the plot is easier to follow (I gave up on Why R U midway though)

It also indulges into many apparent tropes at first sight, but skirts away from them at the same time.

I know it was disliked on this thread, but this is truly the best comedic BL of all time (and the love/kiss scenes are ridiculous & HOT at the same time, which is a hard feat to achieve). And when I say ridiculous, I don't mean in a haha kiki 2 guys kissing way, just the way they are executed into the story.

 

For some people the first episodes are hard to get through (they're not bad at all in my opinion, but they're so RADICAL compared to what other university BLs are doing)

 

@Genius1111 will drag me for saying it, but it kinda does what The WAP Effect tried to (serving diversity - although not as encompassing as being hyper aware about feminist issues) but is not preachy about it (not that I minded that about The WAP Effect), and kind of more subtle.

There are also very strong HINTS that the uke (Seng's character) is

STALKER - literally it is the title of the novel it is based on. However, he is not a bad person, and never actually does anything harmful, just weird and semi-creepy.

Still, the seme is a messy bish as well.

I wholeheartedly recommend it, you will laugh your ass off AND manage to end up loving these characters. It also doesn't suffer from the unnecessary radical episode 11-12 drama other (Especially GMMTV) shows have.
