Eight Sense ep  5 and  6
It certainly has a lot of resemblance to the movie Shelter and a bit to Skam, I like it and it gives a special and real touch to the Korean BL that were very silly and fanciful:clap3:

Your Name sweetie

Fr though, the "dream-like" scenes are too disjointed and confusing :rip: And the shock factor/plot twist was too rushed and messy

This is hard but real, everyone must look for their future, the decision of the mother and Songkram is very mature:gaycat7:

what a healthy and mature couple, who would have thought that these two who bullying each other would be so responsible:clap3:

this was an ending as it should be Who would have thought that all the BLs I've seen in this 2-3 year, Songkram and Ai's relationship is the one I want in my life just the way it is, something like that is perfectly imperfect:gaycat7:

They started like those of addicted heroin but they evolved in a healthier :loki:

r/ThaiBL - I know dark people and especially black people aren't well regarded in Asia but this is unprofessional and clearly mocking...

The woman next to Mile was trying to raise money for a charity, it seems. (Do read the thread to see the discussion surrounding this matter.)

The show was supposed to be a macro representation of the uproar with the politics and government in Thailand but they had to find a way around the censors (i don't know to what extent tho) as content putting a light on sensitive government issues in Thailand can be shadow- banned (not something a series would want). Interesting fact, the director was actually a part of the government before being kicked out for being too pro-democratic. I have also lingered on some Thai pages after the series aired completely to see it's local reception and a lot of people were talking about how strict the education system in Thailand is (not uniforms but other things they can't directly point out) and they were happy someone brought it to light.

Honestly, yeah, the story was interesting as a meta-commentary on LGBT rights, social repression, and hidebound authority but it could have been executed better.

Thinking about it one thing that would have resolved a lot of the problems was a completely different setting: I didn't buy that Suppalo was supposed to be some century-old prep school because it was a brand-new building that looked like every other modern school. It didn't feel old or cursed or representative of tradition or anything like that. The atmosphere was entirely wrong. It all felt too new. Give us old brick, walls covered in climbing plants, antique furniture, all that jazz - a shadow old-boys club where curses are believable.

I know that building is a regular shooting location for other shows so it's probably just a question of cost. It was Pat and Pran's old high school in Bad Buddy, it also showed up as See-nam's school in Ghost House, and one other I'm forgetting. It's basically the school equivalent of the Death Stairs House.

don’t know… I feel like on the surface the conflict seems shallow, but I think they use the problems at the school to represent larger issues in Thailand. Like the students who are protesting against the uniforms are openly flamboyant (most likely queer?) and are fighting to the right to express themselves. Akk, a person who is trying to enforce the rules, is gay himself but he’s repressing that part of himself because he wants to be ‘perfect’. We have Ayan, who has trauma because of what happened to his uncle and he knows that this school is somehow involved. I feel like after GMMTV couldn’t promote Not Me as much because of how the show called out the government, they went more low key with The Eclipse with ‘the curse’ actually representing the government. I feel like they confirmed that when they brought up the book, 1984. Overall, I can see how it can look like there isn’t a clear plot, but this is what I think this is what they were trying to do.

I watch The Eclipse for the two tops (oops sorry, "barely tops") Khanlong and Ayan.  I love Khanlong and his hair, but the boy was too whipped that he forgave Thuaphu wayyyyy too quickly.

I suspect that the script for The Eclipse was probably a lot better initially, but they had to tone it down because, let's not forget, Thailand is technically ruled by an authoritarian military government. Tragic, either way.

Really glad that ForceBook managed to pull through (or at least the important people in GMM took pity of them).
