For office BLs I recommend: Old Fashion Cupcake (5 eps of 25 mins - Viki), Plus and Minus (12 + 1 episodes of 25 mins - Viki), The New Employee (7 episodes of 25 min). They're not exactly the same but they feature adults in their late 20s/30s and are in an office setting. I cannot recommend enough OFC and Plus & Minus, although they are not necessarily in the exact same vein/prototype of Roomates of Poongduck 304 but they are great and Plus & Minus actors are (allegedly) gays irl.

It's my first time hearing that a movie was supposed to take place. I had no idea. 

Everybody has moved on, so it's definitely not happening. 

 

Unfortunately, I think other—quite inferior—History series are more popular with the BL masses. They'd probably do a Make Our Toxicity Count season 2/movie before a Crossing The Line season 2/movie.

Compared to that:

 

The WAP Effect has: 1st female lead, 2nd female lead, lesbian female lead, supporting female character 1 (Phuwin's girlfriend), supporting female character 2 (Jedi's girlfriend), supporting female character 3 (Se'Ew's girlfriend), supporting nonbinary lesbian character. On top of that, they still have a bromance between a str8 male character and a gay male character, a gay "BL" pairing & the gay male character having an active sex life (with multiple people before he gets with the other gay male character)

I think that is also why I liked Three Will Be Free. Mild and Jennie's character were pivotal for the show being watchable.

 

It really depends on how the female characters are portrayed. Maybe GMM's content team want to avoid tropes with ex-GFs or females who have crushes on gay guys, which may get annoying if not done properly. E.g. Janhae was great as part of a fake throuple in Tonhon Chonlatee as Miriam, but terrible when she was in FUTS as Bam. This of course unfortunately means that there are fewer opportunities for GMM's younger actresses. Or maybe they have too many male actors and they need to give each guy at least 1 decent role each year. I would agree that the shows may be too testosterone-heavy, and if there are no hot dry-humping scenes, it becomes tedious to watch. (KinnPorsche's cast is extremely gender imbalanced, but because of their hot scenes, it didn't matter too much.)

 

MSP can benefit from having one prominent female band member, but then again, no intelligent girl would want to join that band with nearly zero brain cells.  A supportive female classmate would also be good. Yo (Captain Passatorn) is the only confirmed straight guy in the band, but somehow the writers did not want to feature his straight storyline.

Yeah a movie was supposed to happen and serve as a crossover with the other history 2 series but it seems Covid killed it  and we got history 4 instead

I wanted to say "Suffer a bit, Ohm" but at the same time, I also don't want him to be permanently cancelled. I think he might be suffering from some depression because he is getting a taste of his own medicine. I hope he privately tries to make amends with the victim and his family.

 

At the same time, I also feel sad for OhmNanon's friendship because I understand they used to be very close pals too. While I don't see ships as actual lovers, I personally do feel sad when two friends end up drifting apart or hating each other. I hope that the Our Skyy special will not be very cringe and difficult to watch. 

 

On a separate note, I noticed that in Dirty Laundry, Nanon seems a lot happier kissing a woman (Film, in this case).

Are you already at Ep 10? Episodes 4 to 8 were near perfection!

 

I remembered I was trying to hype the show several months ago because of its general premise, but it appeared that people were reluctant. Fast forward several months and it is getting near universal acclaim. 

 

 

The only thing that is disappointing is the lack of promo for this show. FlukeThor were so hot together, but we are not seeing them doing promo together like the other ships. (I am assuming the male actors themselves are already involved in their own ships and GMM doesn't want to jeopardize their other ships.)
