Da Vinci Posted February 17, 2023 Posted February 17, 2023 I've never seen a straight man obsess this much over male Korean idols tbh Specifically their visuals, not even the music or the dancing or something

Nevermind the Taiwanese 2Bros "About Youth" which was nominated started a whole two weeks later than My Only 12% Also, as per @JonginBey on page 273: On 10/23/2022 at 7:46 PM, JonginBey said: Introducing this year's annual BLammy ceremony! Now, as it was reported two days ago, three categories have been scrapped this year, though that doesn't necessarily mean they're gone forever. Those categories are: Best OST (entire soundtrack), Best Musical Score, and Best Ship. A new category has been added: On The Rise, where you guys will nominate BL actors that you feel are on the verge of a breakthrough, starting to receive their flowers (even if they've been in the industry for years), has IT Boy potential, has longevity potential, etc. A change has also been made to Most Anticipated. Up until now, I've allowed series premiering during any quarter-four period to be nominated since they technically premiere after the deadline. Last year, Bad Buddy received a nomination despite it already airing. When last year's ceremony was announced, the series had not aired yet, however, due to delays, by the time we moved forward with the ceremony, the series was already numerous episodes in. To avoid wasted slots, only series that premiere IN 2023 can be nominated. Send your ballots to my DM as usual. The sooner they're in, the higher chance of avoiding delays, so keep that in mind. At most, I will only give a 24-hour extension past the deadline. Nothing more. As provided by @DanyelP23, here's a list of eligible series: x The list of eligible series from last year: BLammy '22 Eligible Series - Google Docs My only 12% is the third to last series in the list. And over half of its episode had already aired in the last eligibility period. And 12/14 episodes aired before the last date to submit the noms. So eye'm afraid it should NOT be eligible this year!

Of course, proper payola is needed as well. Which is why I have put it on hold for a bit, but once I'll start and presumably like it I will spam this thread like I did with Minatoad, 180 Degrees, Kieta Hatsukoi & Old Fashion Cupcake
Babymomo Posted February 17, 2023 Posted February 17, 2023 WORLDSTOP! Thoughts on a Pond x Fourth vehicle? The more charming parts of their pairs with Fourth having the TALENT and Pond having the VISUALS
northwest Posted February 17, 2023 Posted February 17, 2023 Moonlight Chicken Ep 4 Li Ming and Heart couple is so cute

Genius1111 Posted February 17, 2023 Posted February 17, 2023 Whoever said MSP was a lovey-dovey light-hearted show, well, watch this. Honestly great acting, but the direction that the show momentarily took left a bitter taste.
Genius1111 Posted February 17, 2023 Posted February 17, 2023 I wonder what Sound meant when referring to Win's mouth and skills.

Genius1111 Posted February 17, 2023 Posted February 17, 2023 Tinnapob, sweetie, I am so sorry that you had to have a crush on the leader of this band of dumb-dumbs (minus Por, who is an angel). Maybe Chinzhilla should have been closed down.
Genius1111 Posted February 17, 2023 Posted February 17, 2023 (edited) Other things that went wrong with MSP Ep 11 - Winny unfortunately didn't get to cry in his first outburst and then SatangWinny then had to pretend to clean away tears that didn't exist. - Ford Arun and the crutches. He wasn't using them properly. So is Por really injured? Why was Win using/holding on to the crutches then? _________________________ Most cruel things ever said/done by characters in GMM BL shows (that doesn't involve murder), and you wonder why the scriptwriters decide that it's a good idea to show these to viewers... - MSP: Win declaring that their loss was due entirely to Gun. - Vice Versa: Talay poking fun of the fact that Pued was an orphan - 1000 Stars: Phupha throwing Tian under the bus in front of the villagers. - The Eclipse: Thua outing his friends Akk and Ayan in front of everyone - Bad Buddy: Wai exposing PatPran with his curtain shenanigans Edited February 17, 2023 by Genius1111

Da Vinci Posted February 17, 2023 Posted February 17, 2023 MSP 11: Penultimate episodes are so cursed, is there any penultimate episode that's not the angstiest and saddest? The first half of final episodes are sad and angsty too but at least the happy ending (usually) makes up for it NMLG is gonna be even more annoying next week Also those twitter fujos were hyping a Gemini x Fourth kiss based on some BTS but I knew it wasn't the case and we only got a crusty finger kiss today
Katamari Posted February 17, 2023 Posted February 17, 2023 both gemini and fourth are 18 the same age frank and drake were in their main series too so the lack of smooching is not surprising since gmmtv is like that however drakefrank did give a couple of kisses of the lips/cheeks throughout it tho tbh drakefrank characters in CYMB did a bit more touching than these 2
Felipesf Posted February 17, 2023 Posted February 17, 2023 I really enjoyed MSP EP11. My problem about most BLs is that they are completely focused on the relationship of two people. Of course, it doesn't make a series bad and there are exceptions like Not Me, KinnPorsche and Manner of Death. That's the main reason why most of them don't get a second season, because there is no point, considering that the relationship is settled. With MSP, they effectively done a series about friendship, trying to learn after a failure. It's more than just a relationship. Some of the acting was a little bit off, but overall, it was great. And I've never liked Tinn's mom for a reason...
DanyelP23 Posted February 17, 2023 Posted February 17, 2023 I think the reason why I can barely get through both MSP and now I am struggling with Moonlight Cock is the very little presence or more likely prominence of female characters. In MSP the only 2 female characters are the mothers of the main leads In Moonlight Cock so far there is Mark's pregnant gf and I think Gemini's mother Compared to that: The WAP Effect has: 1st female lead, 2nd female lead, lesbian female lead, supporting female character 1 (Phuwin's girlfriend), supporting female character 2 (Jedi's girlfriend), supporting female character 3 (Se'Ew's girlfriend), supporting nonbinary lesbian character. On top of that, they still have a bromance between a str8 male character and a gay male character, a gay "BL" pairing & the gay male character having an active sex life (with multiple people before he gets with the other gay male character) I think that is also why I liked Three Will Be Free. Mild and Jennie's character were pivotal for the show being watchable.
Babymomo Posted February 17, 2023 Posted February 17, 2023 Jack O'Frost was good, very excited to get into the mess, JBLs really the only things keeping me going lately End of the world / My Beautiful man / Jack O'Frost all having great stories with actors that can ACT, kiss and not look like they would rather be anywhere else, i also really like the natural styling, no ugly outdated 2000s hair or clothing, Japanese actors deserve better than that. We've come so far yall
kzm Posted February 17, 2023 Posted February 17, 2023 I just watched Roommates of Poongduck because of Kim Jiwoong being on Boys Planet and really enjoyed it. Does anyone have recommendations for other/maybe similar BL that’s on Viki? How is the one that actually stars Holland?
