ps i finished watching DBK a while ago and SunMork kind of ended them. even did what they couldnt 

 

The part where Kao decorated the entire room to celebrate his anniversary with Pete and the embrace that they had, that was excellent.

 

Their underwater kiss, that was excellent (and referenced in The Eclipse).

 

The part where Pete dragged Kao into the shower stall to do fun stuff, that was hot.

 

The part where Kao ran like an excited little boy after Pete saved him on his livestream, that was so heartwarming.

 

Dark Blue Kiss may not be as glitzy as KinnPorsche or The Player, but the important thing was that TayNew (and PoddGawin) delivered their scenes terrificially and it is the only LGBT show that I have seen so far that doesn't have glaring plot holes and bad writing. (The more celebrated shows, like KP, Not Me and Bad Buddy, are clearly lacking in this department.) (And not to mention the cute NeoPhuwin cameo, heh)

 

I am not sure if there will be a Best Series rate hosted by touya or anyone, but DBK is certainly going to be my #1 or #2.

I heard that TayNew spent Valentine's Day 2018 in a resort together (and only the 2 of them). I suppose that two of them did try to start something back then. In any case, TayNew did not crash and burn like MikeToptap (who were terrific in Tonhon Chocolatey by the way). I doubt the management would bother to let them play a couple if they hated each other's guts.

The older stepbro had beautiful abs and a cute face. The younger stepbro, ugh. Frankly the two hot actors should have hooked up.

 

I only know two shows with a fake boyfriend premise, and I cannot really understand why a "straight" dude would want to pretend to like BLs to impress the girl he is chasing. The premise in 2Bros made a lot more sense (Tine insisting on scoring with Sarawat even if Tine was bothered a lot by Sarawat at first) but the disappointing thing is that Tine never really tried to act like a fake BF.

 

But I am a bit of a sucker for the fake BFs to real BFs plotline so those 2 shows are my guilty pleasures, even as I stare at the screen and curse the characters for being idiots.

Best intro for a gay character in Ep 3 of SIMM, looking like a fine top but one who is caring. (This is alongside Neo's entrance in Ep 2 of Tonhon with his orange sunglasses.) In SIYH Ep 3, his confession scene was terrific (but it was freaking negated in Ep 4).

 

 

MikeBottomTap were quite good in 2Bros and Tonhon and they did some Tiktoks together so it's a shame that they had a falling out. SIYH was also badly written though it had potential and BottomTap's chaaracter just slowly faded away. The two guys had a lot more interaction in Mama Gogo as enemies, and it worked quite well. (Not that they needed to practise more for that.) In any case, BottomTap has now left GMMTV and hopefully time will heal all wounds.

I am now at Episode 12 of 16 of The Player (and that means I am 10 to 11 months late).

 

The show has 4 male characters who are gay or bi, so I believe it should be eligible for the Blammys or whatever rate that exists here. While there are quite a number of plot holes, I would say it is still better written than KinnPorsche and the tone is a hell lot more consistent (as opposed to KP's jarring change of tones on at least 2 occasions).

 

Namtan is really killing it as Giwi and I would have done some payola for her if I had watched it 2 months earlier. Mek, as a straight guy (I believe), has really delivered as a sissy gay. Frankly, he is probably even better at portraying a gay man that actual gay actors. Namtan/Giwi and Mek/Matt should have been nominated and won some of the Blammy categories over Bible Wichapas.

 

Mek is so awesome that I am going to do some payola for him for next year's BL King rate.

Joss Way-ar is so fine (visually) in the 3 shows that I have seen him in (3WBF and its prequel MMGG, along with The Player) and is quite decent at acting. He really should have Bright Vachirawit's career trajectory. Imagine Joss as Sarawat and then telling Metawin that he will kiss Metawin till he drops. 

 

 

Honestly, Joss can be shipped with almost any other hot actor/actress.

There is one scene in Ep11 or 12 where Tay (as Tin the inspector) was confronting Joss (Tim the rich playboy) and you could feel the sexual tension between the two. Tragically, both characters are straight so they obviously don't kiss. (Though I suspect Tim is secretly enjoying other hot men fondling him.)

The director want fk me ep 5 and 6  I liked these two episodes although the dialogues seem strange to me hahaha. However, the next episode will seem to reveal everything that happened in the past so I will understand
