SODA Posted December 27, 2022 Posted December 27, 2022 I've been enjoying Never Let Me Go so far. It's a huge step up for the main actors after the god-awful ()Fish Upon The Sky. I think the characters they play in this are more of a match for them (at least, they come across more natural playing them). And, of Course, finally something different from GMMTV and their, generally, zestful BL series. I hope this will encourage them to venture into new types of stories and filmmaking.

WTF what was that ending? Yes, this is true. He just eats the screen whenever he's in the scene, including when the MCs are in (which is unfortunate for the actors playing the MCs). He's a natural. Excited to see him lead a BL next year (for the first time, I believe?), seems like he'll do great.

Da Vinci Posted December 28, 2022 Posted December 28, 2022 My problem with Never Let Me Go is the same as Minatoad, Kieta Hatsukoi, Choco Beefcake, etc. I keep pausing the show just to stare at Pond's PERFECT square face Nueng and Ben serving "2 bottoms don't make a night" Palm's dad and Ben having a contest on who can be the most annoying character I love the cinematic feel of each episode so far but the BGM is so distracting at times they really need to fix that it's been annoying since EP1 Pond's acting really leveled up here Multiple emotions expressed in this one intense (and ultra hot) look:

Da Vinci Posted December 28, 2022 Posted December 28, 2022 It JUST hit me that Palm is a fisherman and Nueng is his new fish (upon the sky) that he wants to catch Also the writing/dialogue is SO good, best of the year I fear Very consistent and interesting even if the story itself isn't that original Palm slowly getting more comfortable with Nueng and loosening up is so delicious and satisfying, I didn't care about Chopper the cousin but the way he's written is also interesting, I'm really invested in his arc and conclusion now, wow

That's why he left the alley to make way for the killer to assassinate Mufasa/Batman's dad That's why he's always so bitchy whenever Palm interacts with Nueng. He made Palm be the "bodyguard" to reinforce Thanya's trust. So that's why Nueng was LASHING Palm in the series trailer cause he probably thinks Palm betrayed him and was a double agent all along, and it's also why Palm was yelling at his dad in another scene, probably dragging him for working with the uncle or something. What I don't know is if Palm knew all this right from the start but changed his motivation after falling for Nueng. Anyway I'm gonna need Miss Palm to accept Miss Nueng's bedroom proposal next episode

That dancing scene was an epitome of anger and jealousy, at some point, I thought that Palm would burn miss sussy Ben with his evil gaze I love how writers don't rush the things between Palm and Nueng and instead there's a piece by piece development to their love with each new episode Pond >> eye candy, confirmed and sealed
