Chile... Asuka's love interest is such a fkin bore.

They should've aged Shin's sister to be one younger than Shin/Asuka, keep the main plot of them having a crush for the same guy, both get rejected and then Miss Asuka serves bisexuelle excellence and gets with Sakurako

Tbh I wouldn't be mad if Minatoad got together with his borefest of a teacher, bores of a feather stick together

And Miss Shiny gets with Miss Assuka and debut as a chaotic opposites-attract couple

 

But alas!

You could have any character (well almost any character) put next to Asuka and they'd have chemistry. 

Ppl have already said it, Minato would've worked best as 8 episodes. While in comparison Kieta might've seemed a bit repetitive, it didn't feel like it because some themes were litchrally spelled out for us - like the way Ida had no idea what a relationship was, him realizing his feelings for Aoki and how he should behave in a relationship, the fear of homophobia Aoki has in the first episodes being developed/delved into in the 8th episode with da' homophobic teacher, etc.

In Minato, the titular character runs in a circle, you get shoehorned in the teacher storyline which took way to looooong to solve and the pay-off wasn't spectacular either, and it gets boring waiting week to week to see what happens. The episodes on their own are each good but having to wait a week to see Minato going from point A to point B to point A gets annoying. 

 

Lemme now take a break from BLs and continue watching Alice in Borderland.

Tea, Assuka's actor is going places, just magnetic and charismatic with an expressive face

 

It also helps that both couples in Kieta are charming af (no offense to Minatoad, Sensei and Snape)

Which is why we need Season 2 and nobody @ me about the season decline nonsense ! The manga has more material left which includes their first kiss!

SCREAMING at the way minato's laundary faked me out with that fish kiss like i literally saw red at some point all that steam and tension to end with a kiss like that??? But then my head hit the wall and BAM the good sis Shin came in with real acting talent

But at least we're getting a new K-BL tomorrow  But I can tell it's gonna be angsty and a happy ending is not guaranteed

overall minato's laundromat was still enjoyable, the plot was interesting, shin and asuka both are stars, asuka deserved better tho, the storyline of 2nd couple was such a waste
