Vice Versa Ep 8 was so much better than Episodes 3-7.

 

Also, I am surprised no one here talked about the Tay Tawan cameo.

Well, this is a spoiler from the novel about that. JittiRain doesn't really explain the phenomenon clearly at all. Not how it works. Not the mechanism or some operating logic. Most sci-fi stories would explain it at some point, giving some kind of answers to the questions they set up, but not her novel. The readers pretty much still have the same knowledge about it by the end of the novel, which is rather frustrating considering that she spends so much time on other stuff.

What I dilsiked about Mama Gogo:

 

1. The absolute mistreatment of Podd/Moodang. The way he got hardly any speaking lines in the final few episodes.  The way that he shared 3 scenes with Earth Pirapat and they did not have any interactions. 

2. The fact that Nat/Ball did not appear in the final episode. 

3. Lee Thant's/Chen's hairstyle.  

4. No (explicit) gay/bi characters

5. The strippers shuttling between the two clubs. 

 

 

What I loved about Mama Gogo:

1. Joss/Gayu and his close moments with Podd, Mike and Earth, especially the latter two. 

2. My fave character was Joss/Gayu for the most part, but I think Drake/Mikhael might have managed to snatch that title at the very end. I've seen him in 4 shows (the others being 2gether, ATOTS and BB) and this is probably his best character. 

3. Drake/Mikhael and Ciize/Fifa managed to tell their mothers off and eventually got them to reconcile. Mikhael/Fifa were so bad-a$$ and they really made PatPran look like a bunch of wusses. This alone made MMGG's ending more satisfying than BB's, even if MMGG's finale was too rushed.

The J-BL of 2021  Good pacing, minimal fillers, charismatic cast, good main and second couple (even if they're hetero), overall a great adaptation of the manga

Shin's actor plays the class president btw but he's mostly for comedic relief here

u would think Miss Legend would help him cuz he's jus so blah, i still see P'Dean in this series, at least La Fluke is a great thespian cuz I love Sun
