I wonder what's the logic behind telling us the S2 is coming within 12 months, & that it's not coming in June direct. It's literally the most Un-Nintendo move ever  Old Nintendo would've denied S2's existence 1 day before a release trailer to get as much S1 sales as they could. They wouldn't have said "No Switch in this direct" too just so more people would watch it. It only benefits the consumer tho, so we stan

It's not really un-Nintendo. They did the same thing last generation, every Direct/presentation from June 2015 to September 2016 had the disclaimer "we will not be talking about NX".

All I want is prime 2 + 3 (I'm certain 4 is coming for S2 only at this rate) and that forever rumoured Kid Icarus port. It doesn't even need a remaster - I'll take the 3ds graphics just let me play the game with dual sticks finally

Perched but keeping my expectations low to not set myself up for disappointment. The Switch is at the end of its lifespan, so expect very little as they start to wind things down.

Metroid Prime 4 is the only first party game announced since 2017 that hasn't been released yet. If they don't show it soon I'll make a quick visit to Nintendo HQ

Yes, the Switch is on track to become the best selling console of all time while Xbox is going third party and Sony are already talking about the PS6 and admitted to having no games in 2024.
