You a real ass ***** :heart2:

Honestly, I was gagged. The Switch 2 looks incredible and Mario Kart World and Donkey Kong Bonanza are Day One purchases for me. I will absolutely need some kind of Banjo-Kazooie content and that Final Fantasy IX remake announcement soon, too.

Bye I'm definitely not pre-ordering it. Especially for one game so far? Nope. I'll join the Switch 2 party next year.

I just realized I got the price wrong and it will be way more expensive in my country than I thought.

But the games costing so much more is the real blow in the gut. Switch games were already expensive, especially the Wii remasters...

The game prices are a little hard to swallow, yeah. I know people have been saying this was coming for a while since games are a lot cheaper than they used to be when considering inflation, but such a sharp increase is… a lot.

I also hate that they are trying to get rid of physical copies with those price differences.

I'm sure MKW will be enough to tide us over until they get the other games in check, they're probably saving a 3D Mario, Smash, AC announcement for later. Idk I honestly liked the direct it was mostly a showcase of the Switch 2's power and i'm sold. The price controversy will bite them tho that's a huge yikes

Why are we talking about S/V enhancements? We Pokémon stans really live on hope and hope alone ... those buggy, highly disfunctional messes cannot be saved. They exist as a reminder that while Nintendo might sometimes drop the ball, Gamefreak doesn't even have the cognitive function to recognize the ball.

You can look at it this way: GameFreak has no excuse to keep halfassing their games when every other game on the Switch 2 looks amazing so far. Like that trailer for ZA was kinda tragic compared to the other enhancements. TBH they'd be shameful to even put out such a game after SV :sorry:

I guess they want to make sure people won't confuse what game is for what console

and make people don't want to buy physical too

I'm sorry but I'm not touching NSW2 with those game prices anytime soon. I'll wait a few months to see what stores sell them for a lower price (like Amazon discounting games to 41-46€ on preorders).

But that was already true on the original Switch.
