Now see with Xbox Series N/A and PS4 2.0 having absolutely ZERO games to play if you'd told me a couple years ago Nintendo were in danger when they literally had the perfect opportunity to come in, show off some games and win the generation again…

 

This is half Nintendo's fault half Trump but this is looking disastrous   They're all losers, we as consumers are losers and the whole gaming industry needs to get in the bin. Greed has gone too far and the cost of making games is too much. Nothing is sustainable anymore

Haha I just finished watching this on YouTube! Troy is literally the one YouTuber I'm subscribed to  

 

I'm excited but I hope there's an option to play every track as a "regular" 3 lap track in versus mode. The long straight intermissions look like they'll get stale quick. 
 

Also, gonna need more than 30 tracks…. Especially after getting used to 96 with the BCP for 8 Deluxe.

This is how I feel too Such an interesting idea but then in practice it just looked like long straightaways that eat into the lap counts of the next course...

Cyberpunk will run better on Switch 2 than on PS4 because of the better CPU. I'm not sure about the battery life though. If it's 2 hours on portable mode then it's still better to just play on PS5

I'll say if the  Trump admin don't back down and the negotiations with Vietnam/Japan take too long; the pre-orders will likely be in the 550-600$ range which is not too bad considering the crazy tarifs.

 

But there's also 2 other options, they cancel the pre orders altogether and people will just have to find out the price the day it's out when they get it online or in stores, let's just pray by then the tarifs will be off. Or we goin back to the 90s/00s with a delayed released region to region but in this case it's only the US who will have to wait for a fall release

So the games from Switch will be sort of 'emulated' on Switch 2, whatever that means. They won't be running natively. I'm assuming they will run the same as on Switch unless they get a patch/enhanced version. And btw. apparently enhanced games are just base game on cartridge + a code to download the enhancement

I like that the cover wraps around the spine now. 

 

I like the Switch 2 logo on the spine, but I'm not a fan of the huge red bar at the top. I think they should have inverted the colors so that it's white with red accents instead of of the other way around. This way it would look a bit different from the original Switch but still retain the same color scheme.

I need y'all to remember that the console and games already had 20% tariffs added to them even before all of this. Basically, Switch 2 would be around $380 in the U.S. before adding on an extra 20% for Trump's greed, which is how we got a $450 price tag. Likewise, those $80 games are around $65 without Trump's tariffs. Nintendo moved production directly to Vietnam to try and avoid tariffs and then Trump bumped the tariffs to 64%, which takes the Switch 2 from $450 to $623. 
 

I need y'all to stop blaming Nintendo and make the Trump administration take accountability. The Switch 2 jumped from $380 to $623 and the games jumped from around $65 to $106 just because he ran a Chat GPT math project to try and crash our economy so we could refinance our country's debt at a lower rate (yes, he's really that bad at business).

It worked wonders for Nintendo to start the 3DS off high and then give it a cut to 2/3 of the price. Unless Nintendo wants to take a lower share, the console's now about $623 in the U.S. I say they just launch it and let this add to the political unrest (as well as the $100+ physical games). 
 

Then, when the tariffs start to drop and the midterms turn America sane again, give us a massive price drop along with 3D Mario and see a massive boost for the console.

Nintendo's dumbest movie is region-locking the Switch in Japan. It's only $353 there and they could take over Asia again with a region-free Switch 2.

God I LOVE Nintendo and I have already pre-ordered the Switch 2 with Mario Kart World but I hope the general public boycotts this console/games because the prices are completely crazy especially the softwares and all of the accessories, it makes no sense. I know that it's more affordable in some countries but for most of us the prices are simply insane.
