it's a good game but i just think 2 and 3 are waaaaaaay better, i can give it that the mechonis sections are excellent and the best parts of the game

Xenofad is awful at sidequests, they way they "improved" them in 2 and 3 by just making less of them.

This has been a struggle for me as well. With Splatoon 2, I had a few mains and used them for years without getting tired of them. With Splatoon 3, I have two weapons I consider mains, maybe, but I'm not in love with the combinations.

The Nintendo Museum Direct just finished and I literally cried watching that lady playing the original Mario with Miyamoto.

 

I don't think she realizes how POWERFUL that is.

Wasn't that a deliberate stylistic choice? But no, it doesn't seem to be the case for Echoes of Wisdom based on what we've seen in the trailers, or at least not as strongly.
