I just finished the Pikmin 4 demo after around 2.5 hours.

 

I am truly impressed and happy. It's more than what I was expecting on every level. Nintendo is ambitious for the franchise's comeback.

 

The whole tutorial is effective and fun. The introduction was great. There's a lot of talking for someone who already know everything there's to know about Pikmin but the game takes the time to explain everything players have to know.

 

Graphisms are 10/10, by far Top 3 most beautiful game on the hardware, as always with Pikmin. It has a lot of charm and remains unique. Characters, Pikmin et the dog have cute and funny personnalities and the interactions are funny. I love that they implemented a hub in this for the first time and that you can change where your base lands in the different levels and caves. Caves comeback are a huuuuuge win. There are many upgrades we can get and tons of items too.

 

Pikmin is not well known and I hope y'all give it a chance by at least completing its demo, it's a fantastic game

I'm having a blast with Pikmin 4 ! It's such a beautiful and cute game. My only problem for now is that there is way too much hand holding in the intro, like let me just play the game instead of throwing dialog at me every time I do something
