A big part of her success is how vanilla she is. And she’s at risk of people turning on her.

Later talked about how awful the HP movies were but still popular, calling them the Taylor of the 00s.

Probably cuz the movie isn’t gonna flop:huh: yall got gassed up by a media article, when tickets haven’t even been on sell for 72 hours :rip:

unless Grace expects $300M worth of people to buy tickets in the first 3 days😭

It’s still opening at $100M domestically and breaking $250M globally opening weekend. :rip: They did the same exact thing with Quantumania and Guardians 3 4 weeks before both movies came out. Media played that they wouldn’t hit $100M or $120M opening weekend and they both did. :coffee2:

The Marvels is not opening to $100m/250m, it’s not realistic and surely not even Disney expects that at this point.

If word of mouth isn’t fueled entirely on the blind hate train that swarms any female Marvel character not named Wanda or Natasha, it will probably break even.

Deadpool, Captain America and Fantastic 4 will avenge whatever happens with The Marvels though.

Girl it has over a 200 million production budget.

There is less than 0% chance of it breaking even

I don’t see Deadpool, CA4 or FF4 doing well either but ok

She was very sound and made very reasonable points today... Taylor is vanilla to some extent, yes, but her success doesn't only come from that... I think Grace is somewhat pressed because it's a tour documentary making this big noise and money, instead of a proper feature film. I think she's also a little bitter at the fact Taylor is putting herself one step closer to studios throwing money at her to produce, write and direct films, as it's been announced that she's going to do.

asdfg of course she didn't like KOTFM, why does she even watch prestige films, it never works out for her! :dies:

Looks like she found her Nomadland of this year. So typical of her hating on prestige films.

I only see Deadpool being a hit and that’s only because of X-Men. CA4 is doomed to flop and F4 is more cursed than DC.

Also her poll results about Suits shows how small her live chat reflects the general consensus but I doubt she’ll ever acknowledge that.

A lot of her viewers are outside US where Suits isn't available on Netflix, so makes sense.

The swifties are going to be mad and it's clear that has always been the appeal

White parents can just let their daughters listen to her and know nothing controversial will be said or done

I already know i'm going to agree with grace on the new scorsese

True, but what Grace does is take these poll results, and implies them as the consensus of a US audience (box office, etc) and that’s messes things up.

Mess now why is HP in it?

Vanilla, white, skinny, safe, sanitized, beige

it’s true, this is the fuel behind her massive success

she has said several times that she hasn't read the books, several times during the movies she did not understand what was going on.

Her KOTFM review is one of her worst ever. The complete lack of understanding of American history and Native American issues is really shocking.

Is she coming for another set of lashings on Twitter like she did for the Oppenheimer review? :toofunny3:
