Critics are pretty weird nowadays. Lots of sci-fi films got panned or mixed reviews and then became cult classics with retrospective acclaim.

I was very surprised she liked The Creator  I thought it was incredibly mid. Great cinematography and set-pieces but the script was lacking.

This is the first time she is not going against the current. A lot of people were praising it before release and saying it's one of the best of the genre
