I agree though that Warner bros has been a mess since 2011 when the former ceo left and they just can’t seem to get anything right hbo max was the smartest thing they did recent years and Batman universe tbh. Snyder universe I honestly think is over. I do agree each of the big massive franchises like dc and Harry Potter need to have actually fans become the directors/executives for those franchises and have there own departments in order for these projects to work out. Otherwise money hungry executives will never see anything beyond cash grabs. Bob iger was smart hiring actual fans to run marvel and later on Star Wars cause everything being going well for Disney since the launch of Disney plus with all there valuable IPs. Warner bros needs to do the same thing some of there franchises. I don’t necessarily believe in the theory that you need to be a die hard comic fan in order to direct a comic film. Todd Phillips wasn’t a fan and he gave DC one of their most successful films both critically and commercially. Granted, having someone who knows the source material is always great, but a good storyteller is a good storyteller regardless.
