Fast X domestic is pretty tragic. Overseas are hard carrying its box office:deadbanana4:

Even the Little mermaid is doing better here. Guardians & Spider-Man are certified hit too:clap3: love to see it

It... was aimed at kids though?

It's really not. Per deadline's age demo breakdown for Spiderverse 2, only 16% of the audience was kids and families. I think it was around the same for the first one.

I’m happy for Spiderverse! Gonna go see it in theaters sometime soon. I agree with Grace that animated films aimed at adults are super underrated and I’m glad that they are starting to get some attention, even if a huge franchise like Spiderman is involved. Feeling a bit sad for TLM though. I really wish it would at least get to a $600M total. A film that good doesn’t deserve to stay at $400M like what Grace was suggesting.

Of course Spider-Verse being a hit is also part of the conspiracy against Disney to her :skull:

I don’t think it’s a conspiracy that people are generally over Disney. I like the MCU but I’m ready for all of Disney to burn and it’s a kiii that their movies are flopping

Grace's beef with women is comical. The way she randomly dissed the female Finnish politicians in the last Movie Math sent me :bibliahh:

She does the same with Bumblebee which grossed almost $470M on a $135M budget, so also not a huge hit, but not a flop either which Grace always tries to make it out to be.

I came in this thread to say this! It wasn't a phenomenon in theaters but by no means was it the box office failure she tries to make it out to be every time she brings it up.

And then she calls Air a success when it groosed $89.7M on a $90M budget...

What gets me is that she always talks about how intensely edited her videos are (mostly referring to her ‘90s Clip Art graphics) and then leaves in rambling tangents like that :dies:

I can't at those members who tell her she's over her allotted Q&A time during every stream. Like the teacher's pet in class who reminds the teacher to set the homework.

I love how after the diss she ended it by saying she doesn’t know anything about Finnish politics.

She loved The Flash. We love her again :giraffe:

Honestly shocked she liked The Flash, considering Christina Hodson wrote it.

Grace will still drag Miss Hodson a bit…if not for The Flash for BoP and Batgirl

Wonder if Grace will wait to drop her Flash review after the embargo lifts or after the Rotten Tomatoes scores  release tomorrow 🤔 either way, can’t wait for her video

She decided after seeing Spider-Verse that Flash was all Lord and Miller (despite Hodson getting sole writing credit) so expect her to bring that up.
