I feel like she wants this movie to be a boring romantic comedy and ofc she cannot compliment Margarot for once i guess shes talking from a conservative point of view but at this point it seems like it is really the way she thinks Yeah this breakdown was whack? She’s under the impression this will be more depressing than Oppenheimer? Girl WHAT? And then she’s mad Barbie doesn’t wanna **** Ken, and gets happy when she sees a stereotypical couple in Barbie land? Most of her takes were just completely off in this video it made me so aggravated, and she truly could not for one second take her biased dislike for Margot aside and commend her but took every second to bolster Ryan’s performance. It’s just yucky, I have never been angry w her before but the stark conservative angle really pissed me off today maybe just bc of all the crazy **** we’re dealing with on a daily like the bs target pride collection being taken down, like girl let us have a fun campy movie !
ALA Posted May 26, 2023 Posted May 26, 2023 Maybe Grace should have a watchalong of one of those animated Barbie movies, she'll probably love them
Feanor Posted May 26, 2023 Posted May 26, 2023 Not her just nonchalantly spoiling the movie at the end… Spoiler … by saying that Ryan Gosling’s Ken is the villain of the movie. She’s so shameless
Fading Posted May 26, 2023 Posted May 26, 2023 (edited) I just watched Little Mermaid last night and a few minutes out of the theater it hit me: this woman clearly doesn't have a damn clue about acting chops. How could she even think about Melissa McCarthy being nominated even shortlisted for an Oscar's with such a mid performance? Lmao Jesus The movie is cute. It benefits from all the tech upgrade of filming underwater. It's a nice live action. Way better than Beauty and the Beast, e.g. I think it's unfair to compare it to the animated version. It's sily to expect the animals to be as charming as they are in drawing form. I've seen some people walk out of the theater very frustrated with that. Edited May 27, 2023 by Fading 1
rac7d Posted May 26, 2023 Posted May 26, 2023 She is making me so nervous for barbie evetything That made me laugh she picked on

Of course politics are going to be involved. There's no other choice. F+cking hell. She had one good point, Mattel in the movie should not be all men and vilified if in our real world that company is run by women and has always had so much feminine force behind it. Take the good with the bad in women and make it work. Now I have birds of prey chills. 1

Honest to God The mental gymnastics over it having any sort of message have been wild. And the people that would be offended by a feminist message would never see a f*cking BARBIE movie in the first place. Imo, it's more important for Barbie to appeal to its core audiences (women, teens, 18-30s, and gays) than for it to be as basic and "4 QuAdRaNt" as possible. Sorry, but if you seriously think that the thing stopping alpha males and hag conservatives from liking a cotton candy doll movie is the fact that it's pro-women then 3
EnigmaticAndroid Posted May 26, 2023 Posted May 26, 2023 The only issue with Barbie is the exact age range they're going for. Is it an all-ages affair with the odd adult joke or is it specifically teens and up? Either one would work but it needs to be clear. WB needs to decide on a cut if they haven't already.
OreGuy Posted May 26, 2023 Posted May 26, 2023 Grace was sooo annoying with her latest reaction to Barbie Like, why is she worried about ppl that wouldn't watch it anyway getting pissed that it's too political?

Legendary Posted May 26, 2023 Posted May 26, 2023 (edited) She self identifies as a moderate so idk why anyone is surprised her politics and white feminism are often bizarre af Edited May 26, 2023 by Legendary
Gorjesspazze9 Posted May 26, 2023 Posted May 26, 2023 Grace worries way too much about films having to appeal to all demographics🤣 She is such a Success Stan missing the point of the movie with all her bad takes. And taking the movie so seriously when it’s obviously a campy girly pop movie
ALA Posted May 26, 2023 Posted May 26, 2023 Her Barbie review is gonna be so unhinged I truly wonder if she is even self-aware if she is just that clueless 1

Repelex Posted May 27, 2023 Posted May 27, 2023 James Gunn no Twitter: "Agreed. Christina’s script for #TheFlashMovie is magnificent; the fact that the movie works so well is a testament to her wonderful writing as well as Andy’s glorious directing." / Twitter Grace preparing her Animal cruelty, full frontal nudity, crude discussions, shockinly evil characters script as we speak. 1
TheCheshireCat Posted May 27, 2023 Posted May 27, 2023 Y'all... that trailer was not even slightly funny so all this "She didn't laugh at Margot once! tHe sExIsM!!!1! SJW pearl clutching is very unnecessary. Tbh this whole movie seems like a big unfunny SNL skit, hope I'm wrong. 1 1

Bethenny Frankel Posted May 27, 2023 Posted May 27, 2023 Grace is going to be insufferable until Barbie gets released so get ready girls
Poxy Posted May 27, 2023 Posted May 27, 2023 Grace doesn’t *need* to find the Barbie trailer funny… but she DID. Whenever a MAN said a joke

Baltie Posted May 28, 2023 Posted May 28, 2023 I just watched her spoiler review of The Little Mermaid after watching it in theaters today and I’m really glad she enjoyed most of the new changes in the movie! I just found it funny that when it came to discussing Eric’s character, she decides to talk about how nice his castle looks I cannot see the movie work without Flounder and Scuttle. Yes, they play minor roles but how can she say that she would’ve completely cut them off? Other than that, definitely agree with most of her review.
Arcadius Posted May 28, 2023 Posted May 28, 2023 Elemental being panned, she's gonna use this as another point of her "everyone is against Disney agenda". 1
