The way no one talked at all about the Shangie allegations is so weird to me :doc: She was legit my #1 queen from the franchise, but after some research, I just feel so weird seeing her content now and had to unfollow/mute her everywhere. (And I was just watching Dancing Queen on Netflix the other day and when Shangie came in and started immediately hitting on the camera guy I was like :mazen::mazen:)

she was one of my first faves ever watching rupaul, she has/had a tour stop in prague i was exciting to see and then found out about those allegations. sad, i didn't go, waiting to see how it turns out :dancehall:

Violet's life is filled with scandals (porn, stolen crown etc) and is a super polarizing person/queen that came out of one of the most competitive, cut-throat drag scenes (Atlanta). That's C.U.N.T. right in front of you but somehow you think Ginger or the nerveless other twinks (excluding THE Max) from S7 deserved the crown over her. Ru knows a superstar when he sees one. Violet & Symone are the 2 best winners of all time for the same exact reasons and you will deal.

True; maybe she'll be on DWTS next though :wave2: I feel like Shangela opened the door and now we'll see drag queens on future seasons for sure.

The way Tayce could've actually kept the title of best international winner away from Carmen but Ru fumbled that badly

It's not a coincidence that Jasmine and Mistress are the unexpected/production unfavored breakout stars of their seasons and they're also 2 of the only girls giving body on their seasons. The audience still wants to see female illusion drag on this show.

Max could have been eliminated a lot earlier and it would have saved all of us some pain.

 

I would much rather have seen more Kasha, Tempest, and Jasmine over Max.  Unfortunately Kandy didn't give us enough to work with although she was an excellent lip syncer that season.

 

S7 would be perfect with a Katya, Kennedy, Violet top 3, Pearl going out instead of Fame in the Demi lip sync, and Ginger going out at the ball.

Not anymore. This Spice has reached her expiration date. The way Ru looks at Spice during the directing was her kiss of death. And Spice also knows her days are up so she's acting out with her hopping antics.

Imagine Mistress pulls that off, it could legitimately set her up as the front runner

 

Obviously I don't want Sasha to get eliminated, I'm just saying it could be a gaggy moment and help to even out the season

Okay realistically there's no way anyone but Spice goes home tomorrow without heavy riggory right

 

The only thing that makes me nervous is they have now put Jax in a suspiciously similar position to Jasmine's in last year's lip sync episode, and they had no problem pretending like Jasmine lost to Angeria and Bosco so they might just intend to milk Jax for 3 more lip syncs before shamelessly sending her home

I also have a bad feeling Loosey might be bad at lip syncing (I really like Loosey) because she kind of gives Jan/Rose

I mean there's no point arguing since it's all opinion but I feel like it's at least the popular opinion that Camden had great runways and great lip syncs

 

The important thing about Camden's lip syncs compared to everyone else's is she demonstrated both range and consistency. No other contestant on season 14 besides Willow showed both those qualities across 2+ lip syncs.
