Filming for S16 started by the time AS8 came out so it's just a crazy coincidence.

 

AS8 premiered May 12th, 2023 and quarantine for S16 started May 17th.

yeah but I blame the production. I would do the same character, honestly. These written characters are always very specific archetypes. A regular queen won't reinterprete and create a whole new different persona out of it

Mirage’s lip sync aside…I feel like it’s clear Geneva doesn’t really add anything to the season. This was her third lip sync, but really only the first time she seemed fully awake. 
 

She fades into the background, and not in a way that’s ironically funny like Mhiya or in a way that stops once it’s time to perform like Mirage.

the way there’s still so many talentless BOOGERS in the cast and they send Mirage home I’m so upset :weeps:

 

we were robbed of at least 2-3 more amazing lip syncs from Mirage :monkey:

I think the producers put Mirage in the bottom to put Geneva out of her misery and to give the audience a good lip sync, but it backfired on them because Mirage didn’t know the words. She looked scared sh*tless since she got the role of hostess.

Yeah there really is no defending her not knowing the words to a classic Cher song any way you look at it…

 

… she also really set herself up with production saying in Untucked that she thinks she’s lipsyncing and that she doesn’t know the words… just like Q is setting herself up like Jan to not win by complaining about it

The sad thing is, I don’t really think there’s a role in this skit that keeps Mirage out the bottom. Maybe if she took Mhi’ya’s role since it didn’t require much?

Plasma was great as Barbra and had a great runway but this really should have been Q's week. Funniest performance by far and had the best runway of the Top 3. Ru is Glenn Closing her of a win by this point. At least it wasn't Plain Jane,  I'm sick of every week being about her by this point. 

 

Awww Mirage, I felt so bad for her :cries: One of the saddest eliminations I've ever seen,  and she knew she disappointed the judges by not knowing the Dark Lady lyrics.

Also Q is very attractive and charming because he always smiles as a boy but all that Botox really stiffens his face. It was harsh looking at him while he was listening to his critiques.

Dawn could’ve also been in the bottom. She looked very uncomfortable as the newscaster and it was hard to see her eyes with all that eye makeup.

 

Megami is the word cringe personified.

Do You know that this was filmed before All Stars 8? 

I hated that episode. Mirage You deserved it for not knowing the words but I'm devastated

as long as mirage was able to showcase that talent show she’s booked for life, she’s one queen i see doing great things as an early out

what i think right now they should CGI or AI the **** with her lips to match with the song

I think they put her in the bottom to get rid of Geneva and show people that Mirage is the lipsync assasin to later have big showdown with Miyah but the fact that she didn't knew the words .....

i wish her all the best, I hope I will see her in 3-4 years on All Stars

Oh this definitely could have been a lipsync where they just zoomed out and didn’t show Mirage not knowing the words like they did for the first minute so she could win. IM SICK

my guess is first verse and chorus she knew some words and was clearing that lipsync that's why they didn't show her that much.

Mirage out and Megami, Mhi,ya and Geneva still in :laugh: wtf was that judging (although Megami did deserve safe this week). I'm so upset :weeps:

that episode came out on the 12th too so there is a huge chance she saw that.
