edit: actually I think I personally prefer Nymphia's but trinity's is structually great with that fabric and fits her so well

Imo, Nymphia and Utica’s are the most high fashion and couture, something you could actually see walk down a runway.

Exactly and in direct comparison to someone like Sapphira who is practically trained for this. You can tell Sap has done research, watched the show, she knows Katya well so she has insight to the BTS, and her polish level is unclockable.

 

Miyah just was cast as a filler and that's fine, but I truly wonder if she sees herself as a true competitor for the crown? Hershii did and I'm like.. even Honey had a better chance.

Honestly, it seems like the “too shy for reality tv” queen is becoming an archetype in and of itself, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re deliberately casting for it.

regular drag race may as well just be a factory farm for eventual All Stars competitors so it’s safe to say it’s pretty deliberate, it just sucks that they have to throw these girls into the deep end with seemingly little protection or infrastructure to help them navigate the shitstorm that comes after being on the show

Wait this actually made me realize how cheap this look looks  Like it’s definitely well made, the vision is there, but it *looks* cheap while Nymphia’s looked like something I’d see in a fashion show or worn by a pop girl in the early 2010s.

 

I think it’s the fabric, busy jewelry on the bust and the mono-red color (I know that was the challenge) that takes it down a notch for me. Nymphia’s just looked expensive and fashion, while also being whimsical and a little campy. The yellow boots making the otherwise plain colors pop was such a nice touch too. Nymphia has THAT eye where she knows just the right details something needs.

But it was a confessional, and when she was confronted in person (Nymphia exposing her vote, her quaking when she saw Ru drop the Rate A Queen votes, Plasma/Amanda tossing her wig around) she folded fast. Her energy seems very different in confessionals versus in person. She gave Megami a watered down version of that "protect queer art" lashing, and then almost immediately backed down when Megami pulled out the sob story. The Jane stans need to grow a thicker skin, btw. How are u gonna hype someone up as an old school villain and then cry and holler when she's given a villain's reception. Most of the villains have gotten way more hate for much less. I was a Roxxxy Andrews apologist while her season was airing. Taught me everything I needed to know about stanning unpopular queens.  Anyway, Jane's third look really gave me a newfound appreciation for Jorgie's chic resort look.
