Jane got confronted and turned it into “i don’t think it’s a crime to have an opinion”. it’s not! but it should be a crime to be so wishywashy and say “it’s no tea”, “just my opinion”, “we can still be sisters” instead of just outright saying “your drag is busted and i don’t like you for it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯” and backtracking in confessionals that she could have worded it better nah sister if that’s your truth stand in it ! say that $h!t with your chesTUH! you can’t pine to be the villain and then do it half-assedly !! none of the other legends did

 

its so overproduced and corrrrrrrnyyyyyyyyy and tired and honestly comical coming from someone whose drag is so run of the mill.

Bebe was great on the pitstop, what are yall smoking? Just say you wanted someone to be a ***** and be done with it. The first half she was excellent back and forth (which is why i was confused yall were saying she didnt say anything?) then when i got to the looks i was like, yall must have skipped directly to the looks instead of watching the whole pitstop. that was a great episode. so many great looks. Nymphia slayed so hard with her last look. Q was also really good. The way my local queens hype up geneva karr  the gag when she was in the bottom  I wish she went home just so they can stop being bitter queens with everyone else.

she is. but i wanted to see what she thought about the looks and she was silent (or maybe she was silenced). i not watching pitstop for the conversation between her and trixie

yeah this season stomps over every post s11 season and it's not even close. seems like they're casting actual interesting and entertaining personalities again, didn't know the US franchise had another breath of life left in it

Last few seasons have been good, this feels fresh and competitive. 

 

Nymphia is a fashion girl, she has the eye and talent to execute, wonder if she is funny?

 

Q, like the girls have said, reminds me of Icesis, a girl who studies silhouettes and can make a look, NOT CARRY A LOOK!

 

Sapphira is winner potential, runways are strong af and I hope she is the comedy girl.

 

Dawn is looking to stall fast, we shall see.

 

Mirage is who I am interested in seeing more of tbh, giving Yvie teas.

It is funny that much of Untucked used to be 2000s style produced reality TV like the show aims to parody: "Okay guys, talk about this fight!" or the random prompts out of the furry pink box, Kenya Michaels' random letter that I still don't believe she wrote, etc. And yet it worked because the cast themselves weren't produced. 

 

And now what stops it from working and having those moments of drama land, even when presented, is because the cast themselves are overly rehearsed and self-produced. Jane couldn't even control herself from smirking when she thought the punch landed and took Amanda off guard, but then when the group looked at her crazy, she immediately backed down and stumbled. A real ***** wouldn't coward to the girls, let alone to the confessional camera about "maybe I could have said it better" ddd.

 

The girls don't understand what makes good TV despite claiming they're making good TV. Randomly attacking Amanda makes no sense. Those moments of taking someone down only work when a character is openly delusional. The girls in S2 all knew Mystique looked insane talking about how the food eating challenge was hard for her cause she doesn't eat fried foods and eyed the camera in disbelief for a reason. Serena Cha Cha doesn't become a sympathetic character after a group lashing when it was delivered after scolding the entire group for "ghetto language". Tamisha taking Kandy to task is the only truly throwback moment of drama from recent seasons that calls back old seasons (and it was largely ruined by annoying people like Mik getting involved). 

 

The new girls are ironically media illiterate. They don't understand narrative!  They weren't around to actually watch these 2000s reality shows in real time where characters were built up that made then the eventual fights vindicating and why these fights and moments still go viral on social media now years and years later. They just think the shade and fighting for the sake of it is in itself entertaining.
