So far, the queens I like are (in no particular order):

 

Q

Morphine

Mhi'Ya

Plane Jane

Dawn

Nymphia

Plasma

 

Now... of those queens, the ones I can see Top 4 are Dawn, Plane Jane, Mhi'Ya & Nymphia. I love Q but that lipsync wasn't good & I'm scared she won't survive one bottom 2 placement. I mean, that Beyonce song is 5 words repeated 78 times & she looked like she was struggling  I love Plasma's aesthetic but for some reason those queens don't make it. Morphine is straight up FISH but is giving me Carmen Carrera. Nymphia is a lovechild of Raja & Manilla. As long as bananas aren't her only shtick, she's gonna make it *FAR*. I can't see anyone sending Mhi'Ya home, tbh. She's gonna be the Kameron of the season & I kinda want to see it all! Plane Jane came PREPARED . Has the looks, the talent & the attitude to make it far. Great for TV. Dawn was great. Definitely reminds me of Crystal Method. I hope the judges don't force her to change her makeup tho.

Getting extremely tired of pretending just because something was cultural that it was good or immune from criticism. Geneva and Nymphia both were very boring to me. Werk. Culture, great. But there has to be some wow factor or something to make it memorable.

Nymphia’s talent show was most certainly not boring  It was genuinely beautiful and she clearly actually practices the art, rather than other girls who lean on cultural references to carry their performances. Geneva got top 2 and her folklórico performance was BOTCHED. Morphine’s “latin” performance to a Spanish artist was tragic and boring too.

 

Comparing Nymphia to the likes of girls like June who actually clearly lean on culture to carry them through is dumb af. I’d 100% pay to see Nymphia perform kabuki but never the others.

Weird comment when you literally JUST dragged all these other cultural performances. Whether YOU found it beautiful or not, not my concern. I found it boring. It’s not racist to find something boring… as you literally note yourself.

If you can’t tell the difference between the elegance and poise of performances like Gia’s and Nymphia’s done with reverence versus:

- Geneva interrupting her Folklórico dance to do a generic “ooh a chili!” d*** joke

- Morphine doing a Latin tribute to a Rosalía song 

- June neglecting to even get a headband that fits on her head

 

Then that’s you looking for reasons to dislike something. Especially when you’re defending Burger Finger girl (a reductive Jimbo tribute) on the same page, then I know what’s going on.

 

I’m not even going to explain why calling a pale white girl pale is not racist like calling a black girl dark is. You already know why. The fact that you even jumped to that example says a lot. People defending white people from “racism” always have to jump to random racist examples to attempt to justify their point because their point cannot stand on its own like comments against actual racist comments can. Rather than just say “we shouldn’t be making comments about people’s appearances!” you had to attempt to add some ethos because it’s a dumb point to make in the first place with no weight at all. Except now it’s even dumber because you attempted to equate it to racism.  

 

But you’ve already shown yourself to be intentionally obtuse so you can sit alone with your attempts at petitioning against ~reverse racism~ I guess.

Plane Jane's behaviour is gross. There is a difference between being shady every once in a while AND being shady in every sentence you say, not being able to act like a normal decent human for a moment. She's Russian apparently and I'm sure the fandom would be livid if she does a number/runway honouring her Russian herritage. That would be entertaining. Some people were already complaining when the cast was revealed. 

 

Nymphia's performance was meh. Great outfit though. 

 

Also, I'm sick of those "talent" numbers of an original crappy drag song with a predictable choreo. Can y'all come up with something else?

Mhi'ya Iman LePaige really served nothing but flips. Like there wasn't a semblant of a joke or a sense of humour being found there. Just nervous and stone-faced the entire time. I don't see her lasting very long unless she's a killer LSA and the girls are unable to send her home.

I wanna add to it: whats boring is girls trying to do splits without being able to touch the ground with their *******. Now THATS tragic
