How hard is it to find queens who don’t sexually assault people?

The sad part is that I’m sure that they do run a background check and that they do check some references including places they’ve worked, etc. If no one makes an official report or says anything to the owners of the club or organizers of the event, what could they possibly find? If something like this happens to you, SPEAK UP when it happens. If you don’t want to press charges, that’s your right, but it’s too late in the process to do anything about it really. They can start trying to edit her out a bit but…

Honesty is the best policy as fas as the show addressing it. They can be like we're sorry about this issue, it just came to our attention and was not reported previously and we do not condone any kind of sexual harassment/assault of any kind. We are going to air the season as originally shot/edited and would simply like to express our sympathies to any victims and encourage other drag queens to respect others boundaries while performing.

IMO it would be very unfair to the editors who I'm sure already worked super hard to edit this season to make last minute significant edits around one queen because of things they had no control/no way of knowing about prior. I think there are ways of it being addressed without making innocent people behind the scenes add-on many hours of extra work of re-editing the entire season. It's punishing other people for one person's stupid decisions. The GP will decide for themselves how to move forward with said queen regardless of an edit. I myself have already decided I'm gonna pass on Plain Jane.

Sapphira and Nymphia top two pls.

Plane Jane needs to back the **** OFF Katya, even if it's a joke.

Not feeling as much excitement about this cast as I did with Luxx, MIB, Sugar and Spice, Irene (lol), and Sasha last year.

Nymphia and Sapphira 100% stand out the most. Dawn maaaybe.

I want to like Nymphia, the entrance & MTQ looks are amazingggg but her entrance was a little too cringe for me :/

The MTQ now has me liking Mhi'ya and Hershi <3 excited to see them perform

The edited the entrances for the reveal out of order which was odd

Disappointed to hear all this about Plain Jane :ace: hopefully WoW will handle it responsibly

I don't know if it's the dull colors, the lack of instant standouts or what but I literally can't even finish the MTQ :skull: this looks boring as hell

Is Plain Jane's crime the grabbing of an audience member's genitals during her number? I've had that done to me countless times over the years and I found it flattering to say the least. I don't understand how someone can be "hurt" or "abused" by sth like this, especially when you're gay and have a grasp of the culture.

Plasma is DEFINITELY the standout so far, a CLASSIC drag artist, Dawn & Sapphira are cute too, Tori will be the Loudmouth/Jasmine of the season...now Ms. Jane, I get your drag is raunchy & kinky but gurl just make a public statement coz the season is resting on you from the online discourse I'm starting to see

Not defending Jane by any means, but I just want to point out that non consensual sexual interactions with the crowd are quite common in drag shows pretty much all around the world and you'd be shocked by how many of your favorite Drag Race girls have acted in a similar manner. Again, not excusing such behaviors but let's think twice before destroying a queer entertainer's entire career (and life by extension) for something a lot of drag entertainers are guilty of doing because this is not a Sherry/Crystal/Shangela/Soju scenario.

The best thing for her to do is apologize and hope the whole thing dies down because if this gets traction I can see her getting edited out of the season. This definitely brings the discussion on what is and isn't acceptable at a drag show back to the forefront though, which something that already timidly started with Shannel's purse thing some time ago.

This is a though one. I feel like some accounts are just out here to cancel queens or want to bring juice.

However if we let it slide where do we draw the line in terms of touching people inappropriately. But also what do you expect at a drag show?

I'm just tired of the mob mentality. Especially people equating this to what Sherry Pie has done.

I don't think Jane should be disqualified for this, sorry.

When drag race gets canceled because they hire a predator every season :skull:

Also leave it to the fanbase to play devils advocate for Plane Jane when we have actual drag queens she has worked with calling her trash. I’m sure they have a better barometer of what is and isn’t acceptable at a show and they are the reason she’s being “cancelled” right now

Who is calling her out other than Jay Kay?

I've sat with my thought about this cast for less that a day , and it's grown on me tbh, Seems like an eclectic mix with plenty heavy-hitters
