For all the Shea-on-autopilot complaints that AS5 got, I feel Jimbo is more or less the same on this season. Totally smoothed down all of the fun, rough edges she had, abandoned all of her diva-isms, and just serving a lot less than she did on either of her earlier seasons.

 

I dunno, it's hard to feel excited for her, even if she is still leagues above the other girls here.

The most annoying thing about AS5 was that the two queens who actually made it entertaining (Juju and Alexis) never got the appropriate praise, especially Alexis.

I 100% agree, but unfortunately that's how queens like them (meaning winner material from the moment they came back into the workroom) have to do to actually get to the end and win. It's quite sad, actually, especially with queens like Jimbo who has served TV gold in her previous seasons.

Yeah Jimbo obviously doesn't want to be sent home by another girl and then recieve tonns of hate online for this season. There's already a whole conspiracy theory about how she's a terrible person behind the scenes despite multiple queens who know and have worked with her saying that isn't true. The fandom is ruining the show and queens voting each other off was never a good idea for all stars. Yeah it's lead to some gag moments but it also makes queens alter how they behave to avoid getting voted off.

Precisely. Also Jimbo is one of the nicest, kindest queen I've ever met and I have a very hard time believing that she's a terrible person behind the scenes. Sounds like people (most likely crazy fans of the show) have made up that narrative for whatever reason.

I feel you, but I can't blame her; after CvtW, she's playing it safe so she's not sent packing again  She's said this explicitly in interviews, how she's going to play fairly, not ruffle feathers, etc. 

 

Just another case that shows how the AS formula is in need of updating

I enjoyed the Snatch Game and the Rusical a LOT, which already makes it a stronger season than AS5. And Jimbo, Kandy, Alexis and Jessica will make a great top 4. The only thing missing for me is a Revenge of the Queens or Game within a Game twist.

also, yeah - Jimbo is playing is low key this season and it’s a shame. I genuinely want the LSA format to go and honestly maybe the whole girls eliminating one other format as well. This just isn’t serving like it should. Jimbo is doing a great job at bulldozing the competition this season but the only drama we’ve gotten was Alexis and Cookie Monster (who I’d pay good money to see sent home and taken off of my screen).

I think AS should be the Top 2 winners lipsync, the winner of the lipsync gets to save a girl from the Bottom 3 from elimination, whoever she wants. Then the judges pick from the Bottom 2 who to go.

Cinnamon roll is the (usually white) contestant that gets coddled by a large proportion of the fandom. Especially if they are eliminated “unfairly”. 
 

If you look at the comments of Jaymes’ elimination, it’s thousands of white teenage girls calling the girls bullies for eliminating Jaymes. she’s the precious cinnamon roll that can do no wrong 🥺🥺🥺 It’s NOT Jimbo this season. She’s getting plenty of hate from the younger fans.

A line from someone who didn't even win (and was playing a character for the THIRD time )  was the best part of it? Further proof for how unwatchable a season it is.

IMO every All Star season should have a similar format to AS7. The girls don't get eliminated and just accumilate points until top 4. I never like it when queens return for AS and get eliminated first ep tbh, let's give them a fair showing to showcase everything. It might also allow the girls to bring more drama with each other and not walk on egg shells as to avoid getting voted off.

Jimbo isn’t inoffensive enough to be the cinnamon roll type. She just has a lot of vocal fans and vocal haters.

Yeah Jimbo is too unpredictable to be their fave. They would never support stuff like her rant against Rita and Pangina (which were two hilarious moments). A Queen has to be nice 24/7 (or at least put on that façade) to be their fave.
