Deserved if unexpected double win. Onya best monologue,  and Lexi best dance,  that was golden

 

Shame about Lana, but track record wasn't on her side but Sam's. At least she left on a strong lipsync.

Glad to see queen Lexi enjoy herself more and fight back her insecurities.

 

Lana won the lipsync, she embodied the song, but it was her time to leave. You can tell she's a really sweet and considerate person.

what missing this season is the superstardom of it all.

Loved the lip sync. Lana gave great moments for the choruses and Sam felt very connected to the music throughout (she perfectly knew how many uh-uhs were in Illusion for every chorus!).

 

As for the challenge… It was clear Lexi had to win for that dance. But it's one of those episodes they can judge as they want. My three favorite monologues (Onya, Suzie, Sam) were different from my three favorite dances (Lexi, Jewels, Lana), and then the category for the runway was ugly dress with three people wearing fashionable things and two people wearing costumes.

 

I wouldn't have given the win to Onya considering she didn't feel as strong on all three things as Lexi did, but I can see why the judges find it impossible to not reward her amazing presence.

The way the production carries Lexi worries me about the outcome of the finale.
