I HATE HATE HATE her drag and she just did a couple overused drag eight counts and an Eureka kick in that lip sync and somehow it was enough to do better than Lucky

This episode was everything! S17 bringing back real drama is not something I had on my bingo card and yet here we are.

 

Lexi stays being a MOTHER for calling out cheating ass Hormona Lisa on her stoning. The greens' trimming drama was also very entertaining, Onya was a c*nt for stealing it but it gave good TV so it is what it is (Jewels had every right to be mad though). Honestly basically everyone constructed a good to great outfit minus the bottom two, and even them could've probably been safe in another season. One of the best sewing challenges in a long time.

 

The lip sync could've gone either way and I wish Lucky stayed because I feel she's more to show than Joella, but the latter is bringing so much delusion and drama that I can't be too mad she stayed. Her "I'm and icon and known to be opulent in LA" spiel and telling Lucky she was gonna be in the competition the week after Untucked moments were crazy good unhinged TV moments, she's a hoot! 

 

Very sad for Lucky, I hope she gets a redemption on AS. Sam winning was whatever to me, I thought other queens looked better than her.

I did not expect Lucky to leave this early. But when she said she was going to do something else and do her own mug I saw the writing on the wall. 

I am so happy producers stepped in and saved Joella. I envy her delusion. But she is a terrible person. 

 

I have a hard time choosing a favorite. I don't see a star (yet).

Also the producers should have made Hormona and Lexi talk about the fight on camera. They did not need to recreate it but at least one of the girls could have put some gasoline on the fire. 

 

Jules need to learn how to read a *****.

Even though I didn't agree with some of the results, this episode was AMAZING  

This cast is serving so many entertaining and dramatic moments! This episode was PACKED with drama!

 

I'm a Sam stan (even though I haven't been living for what she's been giving in the competition so far ddd), but I lowkey didn't agree with her winning.

I think the win should've gone to either Onya or Arrietty and I maybe even would've put Hormona or Lydia in the top over Sam.

Similarly, I think it should've been Acacia in the bottom 3 instead of Kori. The bottom 2 was spot on though.

 

I'm very torn on Lucky going home first... It just doesn't make sense with my fantasy  

She had so much more to give. Her looks are always so fun, so we're losing a lot with her gone.

I also think the lipsync was close. Lucky was messy as hell and missed some words, but I was still more entertained by her. Joella was very mid too, just cleaner. 

Joella is a mess, annoying, busted, and has given NOTHING competition-wise so far, but... lbr, she's AMAZING TV. Losing her would make the season much more boring. Her delusions are necessary, so even though I prefer Lucky over her, I'm not too mad she stayed.

Arrietty was robbed I fear. The look was so rich and different and she looked gorgeous. Not that Sam's wasn't but I just felt like we've seen it before and I hated the spot the put those feathers in it should've started way closer to her knees, the way she put it gave her a weird silhouette idk.

 

Onya Nurve was the MVP for me this episode. I loved her look and the way she was eating up the girls this episode every time they tried her I just love a b*tch that knows she's that *****. Her personality is EVERYTHING.

 

Joella  She's lowkey hilarious. When she called herself an icon in the la drag scene

As much as I wanted Lucky to stay, cause her creativity is very exciting, she did deserve to go home. She looked a mess and was falling apart during the lip sync

I was thinking of how they brought Lawrence Chaney in last week just to ramble a bunch of pointless nonsense in her Scottish accent and then leave.

 

Was very camp and David Lynch coded if you think about it. What a lovely tribute.

Onya is such great TV personality and unexpectedly she served with her look, sure it wasn't as refined as Arrietty's but she looked good (especially compared to her previous runways).

 

I have no idea how Sam Star won though, I thought the other blue girl (can't remember her name now) even looked so much better than her but ultimately Arrietty should have easily won this challenge.

 

Sad to see Lucky go because she's talented at what she does but Joella is so fun to watch and laugh at her delusion that I needed her to stay at least for a couple more episodes.
