tv show RuPaul's Drag Race | Season 17

The names are so confusing, it's going to take a bit to differentiate them. Lucky, Jewel, Lexi, Lana, Kori, Lydia, the last names being Stars and Sparkles…. That on top of most of them being small twinks who look alike. 
 

Anyways, Lexi really intrigued me, can't wait to see what she does, the MTV runway was incredibly smart. Jewel Sparkles reminds me of Jorgeous and thought she would be annoying but she seems very sweet. Sam is a cutie pie and yeah a mini Trinity. 
 

Joella is annoying, lol at Hormona looking like sadness. Kori a bit try hard but if she bullies Hormona I'm here for it. 
 

Katy Perry as a judge is cringe, from the "sex symbol" jacket, lifting the leg,  the "judging", being annoyed by the puns, trying to be called "mother", just trying too hard to be in the queer world. You would think she would naturally blend in with the show but no. Her dress was cute though.

How did Lydia avoid being in the bottom? What was that?

I hate that this isn't on Paramount Plus or anywhere else right as it airs. Took me forever to find a link.

She is black , looks funny , smart , has theater background which is huge plus for half of the challenges ... i could see a Bob here

Katy is example of what can go wrong with "big name" guest judges. I'd rather have an irrelevant guest judge who shows genuine excitement to be there than someone like Miss Perry, who acted like a producer was holding a gun to her head the entire time. She came off very haughty and frosty for someone who has relied on camp throughout her career rather than genuine talent.

ChlamLydia and NOella should've been a tie for the bottom. Nina's tribute act's lemonade stand was just ok, but was too obvious on trying the Plane Jesus method, glad  it didn't work tbh.

I'm not that invested in DR as much as I used to but y'all this was hard to watch. Each season just gets worse and worse. 

 

Literally NO memorable queens??? Jewels and Arietty might as well be the same person. Susie's mug is SCARY. The Soju cosplayer is straight up annoying. Half the cast giving first out. 

 

I feel bad for Hormona Lisa cause she looks like an easy target for the others to pick at.

Preach sis, preach! The cast gets younger and dumber every year, with no real stand outs, no real personalities.

The episode had a strong start with the Squirrel Games, but after that it was a snooze. This cast is not it, only Lexi Love might be a star but even that's up for debate.

These queens act way too much 'like theyre on Drag Race'. Nothing felt natural. Sugar & Spice got a lot of hate about them having too many 'canned bits', while this cast feels like they only have canned bits. Who are these queens? They feel like weak imitations of past queens.
