Idk. I don't remember it really ramping up for season 16 until after the new year. This year the first Friday is January 3 so it's not like there's a whole lot of time between. 
 

Side note, does anyone know if the rumors about Joella ever turned out to be true?

I have the feeling this season will suck - like, the worst in a few years. 2024 has been a pretty meh year for the franchise in general...only UK and Phillipines 3 were worthwhile.

Mexico 2, Espana 4, Down Under 4, UKVSTW2 and Canada S4 were great hello

On the flip side, I have a feeling this season will actually slay. 

The energy between the cast is amazing judging from those interviews, the dynamics during the season were clearly great.

So they actually filmed that Squid Games skit before the entrances? Kind of a buzzkill for some genuine reactions to their entrances.

There were tons of queens and, beyond the alums, there were local queens who could actually pass as the new competitors.

 

There was no way to clock the cast and I'm sure they did not register everybody when they got the finish line.

 

This was worth it just for the camp for me

also what's tea on joella? why does everyone seem to hate her? i don't care for her myself, but wanna know why others feel the same way
