As someone that has been watching RPDR since the beginning, I have to say that the show kinda lost a bit of its sparkle. Maybe because of the oversaturation of having pretty much 2 to 3 main seasons each year. It's been a bit stale and yeah, I know the international versions are for their respective countries, but even our Brazilian version was such a let-down that I kinda lost interest as a whole.

S16 was a good season, but I can see it why it didn't win a single Emmy.

I think it's just not surprising people as much anymore and each season is not "much watch" television like it used to feel like.  The favoritism and production shenanigans have also gotten out of control and viewers aren't stupid, we see it and we don't like it.

All of their franchises have lost heart.  It's the problem of fragmentation. Oversaturation. When you're pumping out one season after the next, it becomes overly formulaic.  It becomes less organic. They focus on money and growth (biz aspect) and not so much on offering a fresh perspective anymore.  (The art)

With the things that I saw that happened on Global All Stars, you don't even have an enjoyable time watching knowing that it's waaay overproduced with really bad decisions.

I don't know if there is a way to get back on track anymore, for real, since it's all about Paramount's money. Ideally I think the main season should be shorter, and All Stars replace the regular format from time to time (4 and 4 years maybe?), without being a different franchise. AS reached a point that there are no new stars besides two or three, and then we get the saaaaaaame old queens as always.

S16 I started watching mid-season, because I was not interested at all. The promo was awful, the queens didn't look that interesting from the MTQ, it was overall quite meh.

15 and 16 has been a good return to form since the downfall of 10-14 but I don't think we've had a good All Stars since 4 except 7

omg i must ask, has anyone else here listened to luxx's album?? i occasionally listen to rugirl music, but usually most of my enjoyment has some sort of caveat (like enjoying it mostly because it comes from a queen i like and admitting it probs wouldn't be in my library otherwise), but her album feels like regular pop music that just happens to be sung by a rugirl, if that makes sense? idk im obsessed :jonny5:

i think "let it all hang out", "ave narcisa", and "don't tell me how to drive" are my faves

The way ppl just believe anything she says. Red flag with her after that Trinity ftm comment. She didn't like how she was portrayed and  uses any and all sensitive topics as a cop out to erase the entire thing.   Drag race fans are so naive. I can't.  She has an issue with the advertiser being sex toys. All the excuses. Always the same with Farrah.

I usually roll my eyes when the girls pull all the hot topics to justify their actions, but even I thought it was distasteful to promote freaking butt plugs in the middle of a segment about sexual abuse.
