I guess this would be cause for celebration except it should’ve started much earlier and yeah, the funding will likely be severely reduced if not cut entirely…
Genius1111 Posted April 12, 2023 Author Posted April 12, 2023 Masks are mandatory in Uttar Pradesh in public spaces (the state contains Lucknow & Varanasi).
Vermillion Posted April 20, 2023 Posted April 20, 2023 I just clarified with my pharmacist that the CVS corporate office told her manager in a direct email because they had been getting complaints from those with health conditions that they have decided per the CDC as of this morning to CANCEL the 2nd bivalent booster that’s been widely and falsely reported on as soon being available in reporting from the last week. The few that have been able to get them at places like Walgreen’s, etc. apparently should not have been able to. This applies to BOTH those 65+ and those that are immunocompromised.

Genius1111 Posted April 26, 2023 Author Posted April 26, 2023 That the Chinese government muzzled scientists, hindered international investigations and censored online discussion of the pandemic is well documented. But Beijing’s stranglehold on information goes far deeper than even many pandemic researchers are aware of. Its censorship campaign has targeted international journals and scientific databases, shaking the foundations of shared scientific knowledge, a New York Times investigation found. Under pressure from their government, Chinese scientists have withheld data, withdrawn genetic sequences from public databases and altered crucial details in journal submissions. Western journal editors enabled those efforts by agreeing to those edits or withdrawing papers for murky reasons, a review by The Times of over a dozen retracted papers found.
