A lot of layers to this and I'm not an expert - I did see that in passing through to other articles. Haven't even been following that angle, been distracted with the scholar's theories on other things regarding this.

I honestly don't know what to think on effectiveness of that rebellion. Independent polling in Belarus on Lukashenko's all over the place, as is opinions from soldier allegiance from that country.

Combining Kadyrov, Progozhin and Tsikhanouskaya though, things are about to get really messy. Prior coordination between a few of the Belarusian battalions and Wagner wouldn't have been possible given the complicated politics and would've increased the risk of this "plan" (if you can call it that) getting foiled by the FSB.

All I know is that the Belarusian rebellion needs to act now and accept what risks they're willing to take in what many see as a suicide mission. They'll need to accept a reasonable goal such as reducing the Russian military supplies in Donetsk and Luhansk OR creating chaos in Russia. They can't pick both. Nor will they, imho.

I can’t get over him calling this a war crime - but then if anyone’s qualified in that field it’s him.

There's a lot of disinformation out there at the moment and things are really fluid.

Twitter's a dumpster fire so I'll try to stick to my usual sources. Problem is, majority of them aren't picking up/reporting this situation as quickly.

Random questions; do Russian artists still receive loyalties if you listen to them on Spotify/Apple Music etc?

Girl, ooph. Progozhin who leads the Wagner mercenaries who Putin's had a tenuous relationship with recently regarding Progozhin's claims including their military abilities and Russian forces shooting on them in Ukraine announced generally speaking that he's pissed at Putin and has somehow united all his forces to head into Russia for what he claims in some bulletins to be a suicide mission, in others to cause Russian chaos and kill Putin, and in others to deplete Russian military supplies. He's willing to die, has estimated 50,000 supporting him. Based on most projections, currently headed to Moscow. Currently Wagner's locked down big military launching point for Ukraine in the Russian city of Rostov. Belarus' Lukashenko (Putin ally) has fled and some of its military battalion wants to help. Chechnya's Kadyrov (close Putin ally) has been sent to Moscow to defend against Wagner but now apparently is going to Rostov. Wagner forces are also elsewhere in other city skirmishes closer to border. Various speculation on Ukraine's next steps to take advantage of chaos but this is not a diversion tactic to distract from the mines Russia set around the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant to blow it up, as was speculated on some Telegram and media channels. It's real. Lot of factions and mess. Wild card is Tsikhanouskaya ability to act as de facto leader in Belarus, not likely.

Thank you for this!  I’ve been trying to keep up but keep getting bits and pieces and just needed something to connect the dots.

So Wagner will be in Moscow in a few hours, and at that time we’re expecting some sort of  conflict?
