Especially their conflicting reporting to the New York Times released simultaneously.

 

I'm now pretty much fully on board with the early reporting on coordination between German intelligence and the CIA on the Nordstream bombing.

Scholz leaning on his media to unquestioningly parrot CIA propaganda to misdirect everyone from the likelihood that the United States committed war crimes against a country it hasn’t declared war on

 

Biden being deterred from reporting evidence of Russian war crimes in order to avoid Americans being prosecuted for war crimes

I have to assume that Putin's plan (to the extent that there is one) is to hold out and continue the war all the way up until the US election. Trump has said already to Sean Hannity that he would be "open" to allowing Russia to take parts of Ukraine, and if the war remains a wedge issue for American politics with Trump bleating ad nauseum about how Biden is trying to bring about World War III and a nuclear holocaust, he could get exactly what he wants.

 

It's not a good plan, and depends on the abject stupidity of the American median voter. But it's really all he's got.
