thatsmydemi Posted September 22 Posted September 22 Hogwarts Legacy lowkey the best game of all time () Stopped playing a year ago and still comes to mind often. I may return to finish the game 100%. -- Just pre-ordered MySims Cozy Collection. I hope they are testing waters and they are only releasing this because a brand new title is in the works. The endless possibilities for this spin off in the current gaming state are crazy.

psychodiva336 Posted September 22 Posted September 22 I've finally been dipping my toes into the Resident Evil franchise lately and I'm amazed by how much I'm enjoying the original 2005 version of resident evil 4 Such a good game, I love how it's super engaging and well paced despite the long duration! Any fellow Resident Evil fans here? 1
thatsmydemi Posted September 22 Posted September 22 The Witcher 3 is on sale on Microsoft store. Is it a good game to start in the world of soulslike games? I've had bad experiences in this genre although I haven't really tried it. I played Skyrim for a few minutes but I got bored and deleted it - I wasn't in the mood I guess. And Lies of P was interesting but it was so damn hard that I couldn't continue playing. I've seen clips from the most recent Elden Ring game and it looks fascinating. I want to like games like this so bad.

Honestly I think now I'd have to say the RE2 Remake, RE4 Remake/Classic (I can't choose, one brings such nostalgia the other is just a brilliant remake), RE3 classic as its the one I first played back in the day that got me into the series 1
I'm JAVIng Fun Posted September 27 Posted September 27 Recently got back into Monster Hunter World. It's still an 8/10 game really, I just wished they never made Alatreon the way that he is to fight ever again.
OhMyAlf Posted September 27 Posted September 27 Any other MMO fans in here? Tried out Throne & Liberty yesterday and quire enjoying it so far I have to say
velocity Posted September 28 Posted September 28 finished god of war ragnarok yesterday. i didn't love it as much as the first game but it was still a good game overall. i didn't enjoy playing as atreus AT ALL and the ironwood chapter was honestly awful. completely messed the pacing up. however that also meant that i got to play as kratos + other character which was awesome. the ragnarok part was also pretty rushed, however i didn't mind it as much because for me in games i always enjoy the journey more than the destination. the character growth kratos had was amazing, i did have misty eyes a few times. RE3 just got released on GOG in its original, classic format if you haven't heard already! Might buy it myself as the remake left me feeling the tiniest bit underwhelmed. And RE2R is just *chefs kiss*

They gave us that Ironwood level wasn't that relevant to the story. They gave us only one new weapon and not too many bosses. Ragnarok end game itself was lackluster, I thought it was going to be epic. They cut the battle on the ships that we saw. 1

Now that I've had some time to digest the game i'm liking it less and less. I'm still not over what a waste of time the ironwood chapter was. I replayed the first one in anticipation and it had great replayability. I have no desire to replay Ragnarök at all. I'm actually watching my favorite streamer rn working his way through it and once you know the story it's actually very, very boring. They definitely didn't do Ragnarök justice at all. They should have either focused a lot more on it or made this a trilogy. Although with how boring a lot of the missions inbetween were I don't think they'd have enough material to strech it so much. What's this about the battle on ships? I haven't seen that

Apparently Mimir was going to get a body. It was rumoured the body of Mimir was the one with the horned helmet and a mace in his left hand to the left. - I would suggest people getting Astro Bot, great game. Other games I play are Dead By Daylight and Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Curaga Posted October 7 Posted October 7 I just beat The Messenger this past weekend! Not my favorite kind of game (mostly puzzle platformer), but I thought it was really well-made and funny. Loved the character designs and the music. It was super hard... No idea how many tries it took me to beat the Cyclops brothers boss and that boss after those guys "do the thing" I probably won't ever play it again ddd but I'm glad I played it once. I started WitchSpring R this past weekend and I love so far The designs are so cute
Suilen Posted October 8 Posted October 8 Finally finished the first Quake and all of its countless expansions, getting like 10 rare Steam achievements as a result. I was surprised at how derivative from Doom it felt, but then I read its Wiki page, and it made sense. The original game was fine, the add-ons were hit-or-miss. I liked the fact that the final boss was a puzzle rather than a fight, those are my favorite. Playing through the second game now, and I already like it more. It feels more distinct, and the weapons are cool. I also had to drop the recent (and final, by the looks of it) Saints Row. I didn't hate it as much as other people, on the contrary, it was fun (I don't have much experience with the previous games, though), but it became very buggy for some reason, and I wasn't in the mood to fix it. Maybe I'll return to it one day.
Tangane Posted October 8 Posted October 8 You guys don't know how much I can't wait for Metaphor: ReFantazio to come out!!! This will be my GOTY! 1

I loved Village & Biohazard, but something about those earlier games was so much more exciting to me. I did really love RE: Revelations 1 & 2 though, they felt like good classic Resi games. 1

The one command I need to hit to progress in the game became unresponsive, so I'm stuck right near the end of the story. Hopefully a patch is on its way... serves me right for playing on day 1 I guess. The patches didn't cover this issue but I somehow managed to finish it. I never felt this enraged over a very broken game that disrespect my time. I'm done. 1/10 Edited October 12 by Spicy Pisces
