lgaga1fan Posted April 20 Posted April 20 Not so recent but I saw Civil War last week and liked it a lot. Really beautiful production + cinematography, good performances. Some issues w the story and I think it could have been shorter. It was honestly one of the scariest films I've seen in a long time. It reminded me a lot of Children of Men (which I LOVED). 7.4/10 if I were to rate it.

We watched Challangers this past weekend and it was not what I was expecting but so good. A lot of sub context but interesting. Every actor did their big one too.

It doesn't help that it was clearly inspired by Historia de lo Oculto. And the world building was much better there.
