The reason they can't hit bigger is because of the system SM created themselves. They don't even bother with what their targeted market really want and put the blame and pressure on some young dudes. VelvetCrush Posted July 9, 2022 Share Posted July 9, 2022 While I don't think all the criticism aespa, TWICE and Blackpink get for their performing skills are underserving, and they're probably the worst performers out of their companies ggs, I think it's funny how it relates to the level of success they're getting. Aespa has been getting dragged a lot recently. Blackpink once Jennie was becoming THE IT girl and were breaking touring records, and TWICE started getting hate after their Cheer Up era but now the hate on them settled down. Momoland had THOUSANDS of hate comments on their MR removed videos in their Bboom Bboom era yet now no one talks about it While it does make sense for a group to get more hate the more attention they have (BTS was also considered great performers, now they always get dragged), it's kinda funny how there's a collective hate boner over a certain group once in a while, especially if the faves of the people dragging aren't that great either.
