From what I read the plot of My ID is Gagnam beauty is highkey the same as ‘True Beauty’

Isn’t Jeknee the biggest female from 3rd gen though? Although I wouldn’t mind Nayeonce being the one if she keeps releasing more solo stuff before Jennie is let out of the dungeon

They feel like underdogs until you realize the label that's behind them and the high budget music videos have to be paid by someone. Damn JYP's marketing is good.

Nothing about SKZ has anything to do with BTS

Bang Chan was asked by JYP to handpick the members among the JYP trainees and form a boy-group, where they were going to face JYP and see if they could debut as ot9 or not. Their survival show was about whether they all could debut as 9 (which was the goal) or some members getting cut. Lee Know and Felix were eliminated and they were originally going to debut as ot7 instead.

 

 

Then JYP brought them back and made the public vote whether Lee Know and Felix should debut with the group or not in the final episode. The public voted for ot9 instead of ot7 and they were all able to debut, which was Bang Chan's goal and the whole point of the show. So yeah Bang Chan did kinda fight for them, since the whole point of the show was for a group of 9 friends to help each other debut as ot9. 

 

 

After they debuted in 2018 they weren't successful like that event though they were from a big 3 company until they released "God's Menu"  and the rest is history. 

 

Anyways the public had taste when they said yes to ot9 and no to ot7 

Lee Know and Felix truly won since they are now both in the top 3 most popular members of SKZ

I'm not talking about how the group came to be, just the general feel of their image and the sound of their music. Feels very early BTS in how they wanted to reach young people, talked about stress young Koreans faced, wanted to be different etc.

You guys were saying that they weren't underdogs which is a lie, since they used to be flops from 2018-2019 especially for a big 3 group. Some of the members barely debuted also, like what more do you need to be an underdog

Their next album should just be a magazine shoot with no songs in it. YG can advertise it as their 2nd album and stan will still buy it First ever album with no songs included

Why put BoA in that list when she's not from a group? It should be Lee Hyori

 

also lbr, BP members could release every 2-3 years and they will still make more noise than any Twice member
