Wow BP really was the revolution after all  I hope companies find the courage to pave their own path because seeing the Pinkprint everywhere is starting to get really...weird.

 

I think IVE do a good job of capturing the BP spirit while doing their own thing. Even their promotional strategies feel refreshing and so them. It never felt like they're trying too hard to be BP.

 

Even Lessarafim's modelling concept feels a bit inspired by the BP influencer image. But we'll see when they come out.

 

But WOW poor Blinks, first 2NE1 comes out and slays, then Top shits on their group, BTS announces a comeback in what was supposed to be 'their' month, and now BP's understudies are getting the chance to lip-synch on 'their' legendary stage. It's gonna be ugly this week

I am shamelessly pressed, SM has always annoyed me about red velvet. And yes exactly, their discography would’ve worked well

You can pretend however you like too, this group would’ve flopped outside a big label because wtf is naevis. And the girls aren’t even good stage wise. the way 4/5 of RV Mariah Carey’d that cringe, most iconic moment was Joy not even knowing what kwangya is

Yes mte! I mean this doesn't really help with the image of aespa being BP's understudies, but it's really cool that they're on the main stage.

 

This can be huge for them if they continue to sing live and really bring the energy, dance hard and have no talent holes that day - everybody pulling their weight. Everything needs to be really on point or they and K-POP will be a laughing stock. Everyone will already drag them for copying BlackPink so the bar is sky high as are the stakes.

 

It'll be tough because they'll 200% be compared to BlackPink naturally so if they don't bring it, they'll get dragged bad. But high risk = high reward.

It comes from RV never getting the same effort, why was aespa at a Macy’s parade? To expose how bad their dancing and lip syncing is? Yes I’m comparing the two when they’re on the same label while RV has better concepts and songs for the west

And yeah she really fits the whole Ralph Lauren vibe, it's a shame these brands are so limited when it comes to having no personal social media, it's already 4 (?) members missing out on contracts with designer brands  I think the only clothing brand they have a CF for is Mina with Metrocity, but she seems to straight up be the model/face of the brand 

JYPigE really is fuckin TRASH huh? The amount of brand deals they have turned away from these girls’ doorsteps  Jeongyeon even had an acting role offer in a drama and she wasnt allowed to do it…. 
I haven’t seen any other big 3 company be so out of touch when it comes to individual brand image, especially when the said girls have such high profile popularity.

Well I have the same problem when SM gives NCT more western opportunities and promo that EXO deserved. It is what it is, get over it lol.

Does it make sense to you to constantly bemoan and cry over YG's treatment of BLACKPINK knowing they have no actual say in what they do while at the same time dragging aespa for something beyond their control? They are told to come into a room by their higher-ups, sit down, smile politely, and get excited as they are told they will be performing at Coachella. Maybe take it out on the evil company instead of idols who have no control?
