Yeah, like didn’t he just finished his military service a few months ago?
This is the first time where a person maybe gets to debut in a group AFTER they have done their military service, which is typically the time where a lot of male idols fade out of the idol industry or does more solo work. The fact that he will be 31 if he gets to debut with them and 38 when the contract ends 
The fact that he used to be in a group with HyunA and Dawn as well 

People even claim that Choi Yujin is too old to debut in a 4th gen group even though she’s only 26, which now makes Hui ancient
