Saw BLACKPINK in Amsterdam some days and WOW what a show!  it was so good I had to buy a ticket for their British Summer Time Festival show. BP haters in 2022 are just lame.

the SM winter album is good, idk why they waited until after Christmas to drop it but okay. Time After Time was the definite highlight of the project though. SM needs to crank out another Wendell and Singsing collab though, the people need it

Said this in another thread, but YG is obviously a terrible company. The founder YG himself has always lived off the legacy of artists more successful than he. Seo Taiji, and then later Big Bang and 2NE1. Now BLACKPINK. Let’s see what happens to the company now that their biggest group is falling apart and BP lazy asses only do anything every couple years.

I'll have to disagree... They all have that low, sultry tone that's perfect for the song. The high notes should be left to Ning2 and Ning2 alone (maybe with some Yuri and Joy ooooohs in the background for texture). The song is decent as it is, but it really didn't need Taeyeon and Changmin screaming over each other.

Also, Jisoo sounds just like Seohyun. She doesn’t have the same strength, but it’s almost as uncanny as Rose’s similarity to Park Bom. And I think you’re taking this as shade but you know I’m the first to admit when my faves are influenced (SNSD and S.E.S., 4Minute and 2NE1) or are a clone group (Red Velvet and f(x), (G)-IDLE and 4Minute).

Sis, it definitely influenced both groups. But Team A was clearly who he was talking about - Jennie’s 1996, Jisoo’s 1995 and Rosé and Lisa are 1997. There’s no way YG was planning on debuting 10 year old Denise in 2011, let alone apologizing for the late delay in 2013. 
 

Also, Seugnri’s scandal was like 6 years after the second quote. Denise signed with YG in 2016. And wasn’t Moon Sua a leftover trainee from BP?

Here’s my rant and frustration with YG:

YG needs to do something quick. Like if BP decide to leave that company, then YG will be doomed and officially not be part of the Big 3 anymore. BIGBANG are the 2nd biggest group under YG, but all the members have now left the company except for G-Dragon. This means that BIGBANG comebacks will be even more less frequent than before just like it is with SNSD, due to members being in different agencies and schedules etc. 

 

YG could’ve been the leading company right now, if they had released more music, not having BIGBANG on hiatus for years and not disbanding 2NE1. The fact that BIGBANG went on hiatus and 2NE1 disbanded as soon BP debuted is so dumb and weird. Like imagine if the company had BP, 2NE1 and BIGBANG slaying side by side!? 

iKON, WINNER & TREASURE are really behind compared to their generation peers, sadly. Though I do see a little bit hope for TREASURE, but they are still far behind compared to ENHYPEN, TXT & SKZ.

 

YGLY really let his stubbornness get to him, and overestimated his company thinking that every group they debuted would see the exact same success as BIGBANG, 2NE1 & BP. Now look where his company is headed.

aespa's choreography has gotten so awful like my gosh. Half the performance they're doing weird poses while bent over or hunched.  

 

Even after 6 months I can't get over how bad this choreo is. Even Illusion has many awkward parts of the choreo.

Regardless who did Y2K first, NewJeans did it the best and made it part of their brand identity. It will always be heavily associated with them regardless of who did it before them or who will do it after. KBS literally made it their gayo theme and credited NewJeans for it. I know it hurts to see them have so much impact in just 5 months of their debut  

 

Stay tuned for OMG and keep making predictions about how and when they will flop

GD need to leave and start he's agency, he already said in 2009 one of he's dreams is to make GD Entertainment. Man just do it, leave that place, also half the staff in YGE will join him in a heartbeat, they've been with him all he's career, from dancers who keep posting how much they miss him to producers, all so close to him and will probably leave with him. Also majority of people that currently working with him as manager and other stuff already left YGE in the last 5 years. I don't know why this man is so loyal to YGE when it's just became a stupid business agency.

We live in a time where flop artists are pulling f(x) numbers and Billlie can sell triple SISTAR’s peak. None of the top fourth Gen girls are fading away within the next few years with how big the market is.

I kinda hope they are done. They don't deserve to be a Big3 with the **** they have done and stanning their group is a tragic experience. Also Yang Hyunsuk will be always steering the company from the backseat and profiting off the company and this man should be in jail. Had Yang Hyunsuk been a good person, the company could have Hybe's trajectory but he preferred to do shady business via political connection and serving japanese businessmen with prostitutes.

Gd is too loyal to YGE. Also I thought that a lot of ex YGE staff were in TBL that’s why Taeyang signed there? 
 

Anyways they really have a big management issues.

YGE need to give Blackpink a PROPER comeback with effective PROMOTIONS. I swear if they don’t cb with an album before their festivals gigs . And they need to have a promoted English song. 

 

Taeyang ft Jimin will be successful (at debut at least idk about the longevity, it will depends on the promotions).

 

Treasure will be treasure. Behind their peers but with good touring stats and a lot of Japanese promotions.

 

Somi will probably cb with another mini. 
 

Idk about Akmu, but they do what they want so…
